My daughter had a 10am appointment for a consult. We got there around 940 as it's important to be prompt for appointments. I approached the receptionist to ask when my daughter's would be seen she said one and a half hours to two. So very unprofessional. Outside of building looks run down....inside was dirty. Save yourself time and a headache do not go to this practice. We walked out

I would like to preface this by saying that I’m 17 years old and my age is important here because I have never decided to review a place, especially on google, wether it be good or bad, as I’ve always assumed it was something for a bitter old person to do but my experience here was so horrifying that I feel the need to warn any potential patients. I had an appointment scheduled a month in advance for May 22nd and then received a call saying the doctor won’t be here until June 5th?? So despite it being extremely inconvenient for me, especially with my drivers test coming up soon, I accepted their opening for May 15th to extract my wisdom teeth. I went over there at around 1:45 or so for my 2:00 appointment, immediately did not like the place because the exterior was run down but I knew I couldn’t back out of this because of how much pain my wisdom teeth were causing. Now I saw the packed waiting room and didn’t pay it too much mind, which in hindsight was a major mistake as I had to wait not one, not two, but nearly FOUR hours to have my extraction done. There was a lady in the waiting room who left her root canal appointment because they had made her wait for hours too and there were two elderly ladies, one was on some breathing machine, that were barely hanging on and had to wait 4 hours as well. I was absolutely furious by the time I was finally called back and was shocked that I had to wait another 30 minutes before the oral surgeon, pagonis or something like that, even saw me and then another 20 before the extraction began. The assistants themselves were quite rude too with one making fun of me for being concerned about there being any potential risks in getting my teeth extracted because I have a family member who’s suffered from it. I also heard a few calling the lady who walked out as “crazy” and “too antsy” as if any human should have to wait hours for their appointment. Also the actual procedure was only 20 minutes and it felt quite rushed and I didn’t feel properly numbed out either. Afterwards they tried to quickly rush me out as well without properly hearing my concerns because they had kept in there for so long that the place was about to close. I went in at 1:45 pm and left at 6:10…ridiculous. Overall a horrible experience and no one should have to put up with this bullshit. I hope this place goes under.

Their staff is terrific. I was hesitant to go because I haven't been to the dentist since before we all had to wear masks. However, I now feel that I am in good hands regarding the extensive amount of dental work I need performed. Actually, I'm looking forward to going back to begin the restoration of my oral health.

They scheduled me for 1:30 and it is currently 3. I told them last week I had an emergency I genuinely could not open my mouth, was crying and my cheek was extremely swollen and the earliest they could see me was a week later. A man just walked in with a emergency and was seen immediately, I have had an emergency for a week and have been waiting an hour and a half. Other people in the office had been waiting for longer. I am extremely irritated.

Always informative and attentive. I was afraid being I had my son 2019 and covid hit causing shutdown and months of waiting for appointments. They ensure me I’m fine and made the right appointments to ensure I’m back on track. Thank you!!

About Absecon Family Dental

Absecon Family Dental, located in Absecon, New Jersey, is a general family dental practice that offers dental implant treatment among a wide range of dental services. According to the practice, dental implants are artificial roots that are surgically placed into the jaw bone to replace one or more missing teeth, with crowns, bridges, or dentures then made to attach to the implant. The practice also mentions offering All-on-4 and full-arch treatment options for patients who need to replace multiple or all of their teeth.

Beyond implants, the office provides general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, periodontal care, and other services, so patients can have their evaluation, extractions if needed, and restoration planning handled within the same practice. Anyone considering dental implants here can expect the practice to walk through the process as part of a broader family dental care approach rather than as a stand-alone implant specialty.
