Dr Marc has been my dentist for a few years now and has always been wonderful. He and Wendy didn’t judge me when I told them I hadn’t been to a dentist in almost ten years and they were gentle with my cleaning. Dr. Vance also helped me out with aligners to straighten my teeth. I didn’t wear my retainers in high school after adolescent braces and my bottom teeth were all out of whack and I had one on my top row that was always hidden in pictures. Now I have beautiful, straight, clean white teeth and a regular cleaning schedule. They’ve even helped me out when I travel for work and accommodating my schedule. 10/10. I’m very grateful for Dr. Vance and all his staff!

I can’t say enough great things about Advanced Dental P.C. and Dr. Vance. From start to finish, my dental implant experience was beyond exceptional. Dr. Vance is hands down the most professional and thorough dentist I’ve ever been to—he took the time to explain every step, made sure I was comfortable, and delivered outstanding work.
What truly sets him apart is his level of care and follow-through. He even reached out after hours to personally check on my healing, which speaks volumes about who he is and how much he genuinely cares about his patients. The entire team was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the process stress-free.
If you’re looking for a dentist who combines expertise, compassion, and top-tier results, I highly recommend Advanced Dental P.C. and Dr. Vance.

After chipping a front tooth, Dr. Vance came to the rescue. He repaired the chip, addressed early decay in my other front tooth, and corrected a slight gap, all in one visit. Although in the office longer than planned, I never felt rushed. The expert care and attention to detail left my smile better than before. Highly recommend!

Meet the Doctors
Dr. Marc Vance, Doctor of Dental Medicine, is the founder and dentist at AdVance Dental. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction earned by completing more than 1,200 hours of continuing education after dental school and passing a comprehensive exam. Dr. Vance graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2011 and completed a General Practice Residency at UAB Hospital with training in oral conscious sedation and implant placement and restoration. He is a published author of dental research on cosmetic dental materials and a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Born and raised in Birmingham, he moved his practice to the St. Vincent's downtown campus in 2017.
