I have been going to Advanced Dentistry for many years. They are very consistent with providing top notch service. I have had many procedures over the years and Dr John's skill is the best I have had. Nobody likes needles in the mouth but Dr Joh's technique is hands down the best. I virtually never feel the needle. It certainly rates highly in my book. Nobody really likes going to the Dentist but check out Dr John and his caring staff at Advanced Dentistry. . It makes dental visits much easier snd comfortable. They are the best!

I've been a patient at Advanced Dentistry in Sugar Land for quite some time, and every visit has consistently exceeded my expectations. When I first came in, Dr. John Varghese completed my deep cleaning and the dental treatment I needed. From the very beginning, he was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every step of the process, which immediately put me at ease. His professionalism and attention to detail gave me complete confidence in my treatment. Since then, Gala has provided all of my routine cleanings and follow-up care, and I cannot speak highly enough of her. She is exceptionally skilled, meticulous, and incredibly gentle. Her dedication to patient comfort, combined with her precision and genuine compassion, makes every appointment a positive experience. She consistently delivers an outstanding level of care, and I always leave feeling confident that my dental health is in excellent hands. Yvette at the front desk is equally remarkable. She welcomes every patient with genuine warmth, kindness, and an uplifting attitude that immediately creates a sense of comfort. Her professionalism, efficiency, and sincere hospitality make every interaction effortless and enjoyable. The entire office has a calm, welcoming atmosphere that helps ease any anxiety you might have about visiting the dentist. I can’t recommend this practice enough. Not limited to Dr. John who’s absolutely the best and so sweet, but his whole team. Dr. John explained everything thoroughly, he’s so patient and just so sweet, makes you feel like family. Lovely Ashley who explains everything clear when it comes to the financial part so no surprises in that area, always a pleasure to speak to her. Ivette in the front desk who is an absolute delight, very respectful and patient when it comes to working with your schedule, she even called me to offer a last minute cancellation so I could go before my scheduled appointment. Lupe was so sweet and knowledgeable, you can tell she’s been doing her job for a while and she actually enjoys it. The whole staff is just great. They make you feel welcome and comfortable.

After being a patient here for 2–3 years, I unfortunately lost confidence in the practice due to a lack of transparency. While the doctor is professional and skilled, my experience with the administrative side of the office left me disappointed. One of my biggest concerns was that I was never informed that the practice was out of network with my insurance. Because of that, I ended up paying more than I expected while treatment recommendations continued to be made. The previous year I was in network, so I assumed nothing had changed. I believe patients should be clearly informed about insurance changes before moving forward with treatment. What ultimately led me to seek a second opinion was a recommendation to replace nearly all of my teeth with crowns. Thankfully, I decided to consult another dentist before proceeding. The second opinion gave me a much more conservative treatment plan, and I'm incredibly grateful I didn't move forward with the original recommendation. I'm not questioning the doctor's qualifications, but I do feel the staff could be more knowledgeable and transparent when it comes to insurance and treatment discussions. Looking back, I regret the amount of time and money I invested here. My advice to anyone considering this practice is simple: always get a second opinion before agreeing to extensive dental work. It could save you thousands of dollars and help you make a more informed decision.

If you're looking for an honest and welcoming dentist, this is the place. Dr. John and the entire team provided amazing customer service during my visit for a crown replacement. They were completely transparent about the other work my teeth needed, which I really appreciated. Navigating dental work without insurance can be stressful, but they worked with me and provided clear pricing for the future with zero pressure. The office has a very nice, quiet, and calming atmosphere. I’m looking forward to returning and working on my recommended treatments.
