This practice is just wonderful! No one looks forward to the dentist, much less an oral surgeon, but the staff and specialists are just first notch. I had a dental implant with Dr. Weinstein, and was back for a check after the actual seating of the replacement by my normal dentist (Dr. Danny Tremblay- who is an amazing dentist in Shoreline if you are in that area). Dr Nguyen took care of that - and he explained aftercare of the implant completely. Dr. Nguyen shared that he had been mentored by Dr. Weinstein and loved being a part of the practice. All the staff appear to really enjoy working there, and all provide caring and informed treatment to patients. I have only positive feedback on this practice, from reception to practitioner.

First I want to preface this review with my past experience with peridontal care and surgery. Basically it has been horrible (at different clinics) especially concerning the lack of concern about my comfort and well-being. When I walked into Advanced Perio I was immediately greeted with a warm reception. The gal I worked with initially (Diana) was fantastic. She was calm and very focused on my past poor experiences with the lack of pain control during previous peridontal surgeries. Dr. Kaminsky was equally as empathetic to my past experiences with peridontal surgeons and did not make me feel like a hysterical female! Their office flow is very organized and you are guided always to the correct person to answer your questions. I feel confident beginning my treatment plan with them. And I just love the Medical Dental Building. As a child I saw my eye doctor, Dr Johnson in the same building.

We had an exceptional experience with Advanced Perio! Dr. Nguyen was transparent about the procedure for our young teen, detailing his research on the surgery, what to expect during and after, and how it fit into her overall dental plan. During the weeks of recovery he stayed in constant contact via phone and text, and was available any time we had questions about the stages of healing. Most critically, he made sure our orthodontist and dentist were kept in the loop - we really had a strong triangle of support the entire time!
I can't say enough about the entire staff here. You will be cared for, informed and supported throughout the whole process.

Dr. Carter was very personable and showed extraordinary concern for my preferences when crafting a treatment plan. I opted for a series of gum grafts to fix recession, and I couldn't be happier with the results! I love my smile and I love that I can once again enjoy foods like ice cream without feeling shocked by something frozen hitting the exposed roots of my teeth.
Assistants Jessica, Diana, and Ilona were wonderful as well :-)

I had cosmetic crown lengthening at Advanced Perio about three months ago and am very happy with both my experience and results.
I worked with Dr. Nguyen and Rosa and they were both professional, friendly, and communicative throughout the entire process. Dr. Nguyen was thorough at each appointment, talked me through every part of the procedure and checked in on my recovery afterward. I felt I was in great hands the entire time.
I am very pleased with the outcome and would absolutely recommend Dr. Nguyen, Rosa, and the entire team at Advanced Perio!

Dr. Quan Nguyen graduated summa cum laude from East Carolina University in biology and chemistry, earned his DDS at Virginia Commonwealth University, and completed a Portland VA residency and periodontics training at the University of Washington as a National Health Service Corps Scholar.
