My experience with your particular office has been extremely comfortable. Your staff has been beyond friendly, no complaints when it comes to customer service.
On the other end of things, Advantage Dental has been a complete joke when it comes to Scheduling. The time gaps between appointments is absolutely ridiculous. I know there are a few ways of making my last appointments closer together but I don't want to step on any toes or act like I know your job better. I just want my teeth more than anything. I was told by my dentist that I would be without teeth no more than three months, and is been over seven months and I have only done two impressions. I can't put into words what this life changing experience has done to my mental state. I used to be pretty, no model by any means, but definitely a comfy pretty. Now I'm homebound. I won't go anywhere. I look so flipping ugly. I can't stand walking by a mirror. I try my best to avoid them all together. I've passed up a couple job opportunities due to my face looking like this. I missed my daughter's graduation which I'll never get back. I have it on film but it's not the same. I haven't seen anyone except my husband, and if it weren't for the fact we lived together, I'd be waiting this out alone. I could go on and on but all this is doing is upsetting me to a point of unnecessary tears.
I'm so sorry for the complaints. I truly am very satisfied with everything else besides the lengthy process. I do realize I missed one appointment due to my father passing away, but that was with the oral surgeon.

Today I went to advantage dental to have impressions done for future dentures. I was absolutely totally impressed!!
First the receptionist was MULTI TASKING talking to a client on the phone , acknowledging, me just arriving, and taking care of a gentleman waiting for an appointment. As I stood there patiently waiting as she was busy. She asked my name and handed me a paper to fill out . Have the gentleman his appointment, then continued her conversation with person on the phone. Not ease dropping but hearing her on the phone she was So professional and caring answering the questions and giving the fact of why she was unable to do what was needed at the time requested. Gave the person a definite answer and all this time with great respect , compassion, and patience. It really warmed my heart the way she was so kind. As for me when I checked out same patience and kindness. You do not see that very often nowadays . They seem to get agitated at simple questions. Thank You!!!
Then there is the Denturist she again was so polite and respectful. Explained everything that was going to happen and how for the next few months. Made me feel special and So comfortable. Answered any and all questions without making me feel they were stupid or unnecessary. Took her time!!! She did not rush me or make me feel my time was up. I’m 70 and old school and wanted a copy of all my papers I had signed. No hesitation whatsoever. The other girls were just as friendly and kind as I could hear their voices so kind to each one they called to care for. So friendly.. I truly am blessed to have been able to have this experience as at my age have been in some offices with people who had no respect or compassion for anyone and treated everyone Horribly. Like we were doing them a favor. Thank you to all of you in the Advantage Dental Office in Winston. Keep up the amazing attitudes it is greatly appreciated. Looking forward to my next visit and that hasn’t happened in a long time. Thank- You!! Alicia Buford.

on january 8 i had an appt to discuss tooth pain i have in tooth # 2. they did 18 xrays and scheduled a cleaning for august! they did not even have a dentist and said that another dentist would review my xrays and i should call them back in a couple days. they couldnt even call me. when i called back they said dentist recommended a crown on tooth #19 which they do not cover and will cost me over $1000 and this tooth is on the opposite side of my mouth!! so i have now had to schedule ANOTHER appt with a different dentist to find out whats wrong with the tooth that is actually hurting!

About Advantage Dental+
Advantage Dental+ in Winston, Oregon is part of a network of dental practices offering general, restorative, and cosmetic dental care, including dental implants. According to the practice, if a tooth needs to be extracted or has already fallen out or been knocked out, a dental implant can be a treatment option. Their approach involves placing a foundation that acts as the tooth's root, then fitting a replacement tooth that can be matched in color and shaped to look and feel natural.
The practice also offers alternatives to implants, such as dental bridges and dentures, so patients missing teeth can discuss which option fits their needs with their dentist. Advantage Dental+ describes its overall approach as focused on prevention as well as treatment, aiming to design personal oral health plans that support each patient's broader health. Patients considering an implant can contact the Winston office to learn more about what is offered locally and to schedule a consultation.
