I went to Affordable Dentures in New Port Richey in November 2025. Dr Vlad and the staff were very nice and very easygoing, but this turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made and definitely the worst experience I've ever had. I made an appointment to start the procedure before my procedure I had to pay $7,500 up front. Before the surgery I made it very clear to the doctor, the front and back staff that I cannot under any circumstances take pain medication (opioids). They gave me several lidocaine injections during the procedure to numb my mouth while pulling my teeth. After the procedure they prescribed antibiotics for an infection and steroids for swelling. About a week later I called and spoke to the doctor to ask for a refill on the antibiotics, because the infection didn't resolve. I picked up the prescription and took one immediately. When I got home, something didn't feel right. My wife read the bottle and it was hydrocodone. He called in by accident. That was just the beginning of a 6-month long nightmare. I went back for my temporary adjustment and the tech shaved down the wrong side of the top denture and it lost the suction. When she realized what she had done, she put a ton of glue on it and sent me home, then told me that I would have to come back another day. My next appointment was during the Christmas holiday. The regular technicians were not in that day. There were two female dental students working. The doctor told them they would have to reline the dentures. They tried to reline them, but neither of them had any experience at all and they should not have been touching a patient's mouth. My teeth were too far back into my mouth by about a half inch and cutting the back of my jaw. Instead of trying to reline them the proper way, they put my dentures on a grinder and grinded close to half inch off of them. They sent me home like that and said that I would have to reschedule after the holidays when the regular technicians were back. I could go on and on, but I have 3 hours of video documenting my experience that I will be posting online soon. 7 months later I still cannot eat solid foods or speak correctly with my dentures in and I lost 18 lbs. After a dozen visits, they said I can drop off my permanent dentures (meaning that I have to give them back) and they will refund $1,900 of the $7,500 I spent. Do not go to this place! Just so you know, when they make your permanent teeth, the material they use for the mold is extremely thick and it's made of wax. They tell you not to worry and it will be beautiful when it's finished, but the wax mold is much thicker than the actual permanent dentures will be so they're not similar at all which makes them not fit correctly and completely inaccurate. You must approve the final mold and sign a form stating that you approve before they will make the final dental appliance. This is when they tell you not to worry and it's going to be perfect, but it's definitely nowhere close to perfect. The last time I visited this office, the lab tech who made the dental appliance came into the exam room and I showed him how crooked my dentures were and he stated that "it adds character" he literally had no suggestions for improvement. I should have known better, when they continue to ask me for a good review, even before starting any work. STAY AWAY!

I often joke that I have the cost of a luxury car invested in my mouth—but it’s true. Over the years, I’ve had multiple procedures including implants, root canals, and crowns. With that amount of dental experience behind me, especially with oral surgeons, I can confidently say that Dr. Vlad Shukruta and the team at Affordable Dentures & Implants on Little Road in New Port Richey, FL stand out as exceptional in every way. From the moment I walked in, I felt seen, supported, and cared for—not just as a patient, but as a human being. Dr. Shukruta is a rare combination of extraordinary skill and genuine compassion. His expertise in dental implants is evident, but what truly sets him apart is his humanity. He takes the time to explain each step clearly, helps ease anxiety, and brings an incredible sense of calm to what can be an intimidating experience. His presence inspires confidence, and his hands are steady, precise, and gentle—turning a procedure that could be stressful into one that feels comfortable, safe, and surprisingly peaceful. I’ve never been someone who enjoys dental visits—especially not implant procedures—yet this team transformed my perception of what care can feel like. Their kindness, professionalism, empathy, and warmth created an environment where I felt truly supported from beginning to end. To anyone seeking exceptional dental care, especially implants: you deserve a team like this. I am deeply grateful, not only for the quality of the work, but for the compassion, respect, and reassurance that came with it. This experience didn’t just improve my smile—it restored trust, confidence, and peace.

I am so thankful for my mom Jane W. Who founded this dental office! The lies and charges of other establishments is ridiculous! I paid a 4th of what was told and was told I needed oral surgery and to be sedated for $4k and 9 teeth taken out. This was because Trinity Dental doesn’t do extractions, total bs! The dentist is so awesome. Loves his Tampa sports teams like I do and knows what he’s doing for half the price and his speed is unreal he is Point as a Dr. I love this place sooo much

Great experience from start to finish. The consultation, they went over every step and made sure I was comfortable with my decision. There was no pressure or upsetting to get higher packages they just went with what I felt would work for me. So glad I went with them.
