If you’re able to go elsewhere please do!
I received absolutely ZERO consultation regarding my oral health whatsoever throughout the entirety of the process before or after my surgeries nor did I receive any council as to my treatment options or recommendations for other places that could’ve treated me otherwise... I had to experience both physically and mentally traumatic extraction surgeries where the very basic numbing injection they use (and they down right REFUSED to use anything else) FAILED and I had to endure at least 4/5 extractions (it was a full extraction total both rounds top & bottom) the dentist was somehow annoyed at me for having to stop the first time mid procedure and I had to beg for more numbing medication, feeling every single bit of pain. The dentist is absolutely incapable of reading his patients at least in my experience. The first round especially was like a living nightmare. For my consultation he saw me for truly less than 60 seconds. All he did was walk in, look at me, made a quick assessment and left. He did not discuss anything with me nor did the staff. The only other times I even saw him was for the extraction procedures. I ultimately ended up requesting a package I never received, never received any paperwork outside of my initial consultation either although I had asked in between my consultation and the surgery for a different and more advanced package than what I was given although it was still so expensive I had to seek a 3rd party loan just to get apparently the very most basic one done. I was never instructed as to what to expect for my appointments even though it’s on my paperwork I am hypoglycemic and they left me without a way to eat and any heads up about that for the majority of the day at several appointments. After my procedures they sent me home with 2, less than 1 inch gauze pads when I was bleeding profusely even walking out of the office and was left to figure it out on the hour+ car ride home myself. The final product I was left with leaves much to be desired. I already had to go back one week after receiving the final product as they love to rush patients out of the office, myself included, before we even have the chance to ask any questions regarding our oral health or final product which I can only describe as feeling like Cattle being herded in and out of a pen to make money off of with little regard for patient confidence or information. I didn’t even have the chance to figure out if they fit or not the first time before being literally walked out of the office. The second adjustment was a bit better but as of writing this review it already needs to be fixed again and having to rely on outside transportation to get to and from with the ride alone to the office being just over an hour one way that makes it hard to do. I truly wish I had been able to find assistance elsewhere but my local dental office had canceled my appointment the day before I was meant to go in and it left me in a panic needing desperately to address the issues I had m. Again, I received absolutely no information regarding my oral health from this office. The basically mutilated me only going off of what I told them a previous consultation had said that I reported to them without confirmation other than a less than 60 second visit from the resident dentist or providing me any information in person or on paper as to why or what to do in the mean time or after my procedures. I am currently left with an uncomfortable product, regret and disappointment and a major financial loss when I should have received something much more than what I was given. Please do NOT skim over the negative reviews as I can personally attest that most of the other patient’s frustrations and complaints are entirely valid. The staff (other than one very sweet blonde woman), the dentist and the office itself leaves much to be desired and expected. The website makes it seem like a great option but I truly do wish I had been able to find help somewhere else especially as young as I am. But the damage is done sadly.

The experience started out great! I called and spoke with a knowledgeable person who found a location at the Pooler/Savannah Affordable Dentures for my mother to get a replacement of both top and bottom dentures. We arrived day one and my mother got her impressions done with no problem. Our Technician was Elaina. We paid and came back at 1:45pm. We were told to come at 2pm, so we were a bit early. We were called back around 3pm. When we entered the chair room, we had to wait about 30 minutes and the technician Elaina came in and began to place the dentures and the bottom did not fit. Elaina said they would have to be remade. I advised her that we live over an hour away, one way. So I was hesitant to come back in the event that the mistake would happen again. Elaina said she could not guarantee that the dentures would be right the next time but we would lose our money if we didn't come back because they couldn't do any refunds. I asked if we could take the top dentures since we paid for them. She said no because they needed both to ensure they touched and fit. Feeling forced to come back, Elaina redid the impressions and we scheduled the next visit. We came back at our scheduled time 2 days later and we waited about 30 minutes to be seen. We were called back into the same room as before. The same technician Elaina came back in and tried to place my mother's dentures in and THE BOTTOM DID NOT FIT AGAIN! Without saying anything, Elaina walked out and stayed gone for about 5 minutes and came back to say that they would have to remake them again. At this point I'm furious and asked for a refund and that we would go somewhere else. Elaina told me we will not be receiving refund and that the dentures would have to be remade. I explained to her that we had not done anything wrong, i have drove a total of 4 hours and that it was there mess up and I refused to drive back for a third time. She shrugged her shoulders and said it was the way my mother's bottom portion of her mouth was sitting it wasn't taking the impression right and began to say we are not eligible for a refund. I advised her that she had dentures before and never had a problem like this in the past. I told her coming back was NOT an option and to get me the office manager or doctor and that I was done talking to her! She rolled her eyes and walked out. We waited about 25 minutes. Noone came. Then, a really nice white lady technician came and asked what was the problem and I explained the situation. She apologized and said I will get you some help and about 15 - 20 minutes later a young lady named Ashley came in the room with the refund paperwork and apologized for our trouble. The white female technician and Ashley provided excellent Customer Service as they knew we had not done anything wrong and it was ludicrous to have us drive back for a third time to not even be sure it would be correct! But the young black female, Elaina, and whoever from the lab that could not get the dentures right from the expressions should seek employment somewhere else. On a higher note, My mom was able to get her impressions and dentures done at another location with no problem and all is well.

"I had a great experience at the Pooler office. From the start, the staff was incredibly professional and provided up-front pricing so there were no surprises. They were very thorough during my consultation and took the time to answer every question I had about the process. Highly recommend for anyone looking for honest, quality care!"

My daughter and I went to affordable dentures and implants and were very happy with their service. All of the people we met there were so Wonderful. They were unable to do the work she needs and graciously referred us to who could. They tried to call them for us, but there was no answer and the people they sent us to were also very gracious. I would recommend this office and this business to anyone.
