I was very pleased with dental services from Affordable Smiles. I was able to get a quick appointment and left the same day with my flipper. Kierra and Dr. Nguyen were amazing. Very informative, nice and thorough. The Office Manager was GREAT too at correcting a billing error related to my insurance. The atmosphere was relaxing, clean and conveniently located (right off of the Manhattan Blvd. exit).

I gave two stars because the extractions were not bad at all. I also feel like the staff is very cordial and seem respectful. Some credit has to be given because at least they tried - to the best of their ability, at least. That being said, I think this is my last review for this office. After having my dental work done 2024, I was not immediately happy. I didn't like the original dentures that were made for me. They looked like Chicklets or bunny teeth hanging out of my face to me. I actually cried in the chair. I didn't even look like me to me with the new teeth.i didn't go for a new look. I went because I was tired of paying $500 to have my front tooth repaired when it kept chipping in the same place. I thought..might as well get new teeth. I was told that I wouldn't leave unhappy, and they did go the extra mile to make sure that I was very happy, and that was not an easy task. It took a little while and a lot of work on the tech's part, and a lot of patience, but I got teeth I could live with tha I liked. Since then, they've repaired them for me twice, due to me dropping and breaking them. Everyone is friendly and respectful, and I thought I was going to be happy with the repairs, but I am not. After the first repair to replace the eye tooth on my RIGHT side, I could see a tiny hairline crack in the front of the pink part, but the teeth looked ok, even though the new tooth was a bit shorter than the one on the left side. It was really probably only noticeable to me (because I could feel it and I look in the mirror every day at my own face), so I just kept them like that. Not long ago I had the flu. One day I coughed so hard the denture came out and the LEFT eye tooth broke. I had to wait around two weeks for an appointment to see if I could get it repaired, which was very uncomfortable for me and embarrassing during the wait, but it is what it is. When I brought the teeth in, hairline crack was more pronounced and it looked like it was gonna break on the right side where it had been repaired before, and the left eye tooth was broken straight across the middle. The tech said he could reinforce that part with the crack (on the right side) from the back and replace the broken left tooth. He did that, but when I got them back, the pink part that is on the roof of the mouth now came all the way down the back of the front teeth, so that my tongue didn't rest against the inside of my teeth anymore, but was forced BETWEEN the top and bottom teeth, and the new left tooth was longer than the one on the right. There was now pink stuff coming down covering the FRONT two teeth, and to make it worse, it covered more on one side than the other. When I was at the office, I didn't really notice everything because it really takes a little time to catch some things, and when I got home, I started checking them out better, and realized how messed up they were. Well, again I called to make an appointment and had to wait several days to have them adjusted. I understand. They're busy. When I finally got back into the office and explained everything, the tech said the extra pink had to be behind the front teeth for support. I'm thinking..it wasn't there before and they were just fine.馃 So, he took them to adjust them again while I was there. All I have to say is that the PINK part still comes almost ALL THE WAY down the front teeth, and the WHITE TEETH PART were sharpened so much that my tongue (that is forced to rest UNDER those razor sharp teeth ) feels like it's always under a knife blade. They are so thin now, and the right eye tooth is actually chipping away, and I feel like it's only a matter of time before the rest of the thinned out front teeth start doing the same. I wanted the pink stuff taken down some, NOT THE TEETH. I am SO disappointed that I don't even want to go back. THESE TEETH ARE RUINED NOW, so why bother. I wish Doctor Maes had never sold the practice. I need a new dentist. Getting a good set of teeth should not be this hard.

My dental visit was outstanding. The entire staff was wondering. Doctor Nguyen was clear and informative every step of the way. Ms. Kyara assisted marvelously. They both were very attentive to my needs. I would strongly recommend anyone who is seeking dental care, please go to Affordable Smiles. You ladies were outstanding, thank you.

Great customer service 馃憦 馃憣 Dr. Kim is real professional and knowledgeable of her profession. I felt no pain when she was replacing my cap. She also was explaining every detail that she was doing while working on replacing my cap on tooth (31).
