I have been embarrassed about my teeth almost all my life. I always covered my mouth and NEVER smiled showing them. Dr. Shawn is so nice and compassionate that I felt comfortable right away. He really cared about helping me with my smile and about the overall health of my mouth and teeth. Dr. Shawn recently performed the first part of two dental implants that I need. He was so gentle that I honestly thought the numbing injection was a “preliminary” injection before the really big painful one we all know and hate. But that was it- the numbing injection was not painful at all!! Dr. Shawn is such a skilled surgeon and his staff work so smoothly together- that I felt at ease during my surgery because I knew what an amazing job they were doing. The hardest part that day was not laughing along with my daughter at how funny I sounded after surgery while trying to talk with my mouth being numb. I experienced a little bit of swelling and a little soreness, but it was so little to what I had been expecting after surgery. And it did not last long at all. I made sure to follow my post-op care instructions and took my medications as directed. I go back soon to have my sutures removed and the implants put in. I am really looking forward to seeing Dr. Shawn, Dr. Joelle, and their whole staff, and the healthy smile that they truly care about me having… as they do for all their patients.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience getting dental implants at this office! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and well cared for. Dr. Shawn took the time to explain the entire implant process, answering all my questions and making sure I felt confident about my decision. The procedure itself was surprisingly smooth, and I experienced minimal discomfort thanks to their advanced techniques. Now that my implant has fully healed, I can finally eat, speak, and smile with confidence again! It looks and feels just like a natural tooth. I only wish I had done this sooner!
