I was a previous patient of Dr. Patel in 2018, and I loved how concerned he was about my smile and how he could make it better. Fast forward to 2026, and the office wasn’t the same as it was in 2018. The front desk receptionist wasn’t very knowledgeable. Since I was paying out of pocket, I wanted to know exactly how much each procedure would cost.
At each of my two visits, I paid money toward my crown and three fillings. The receptionist quoted me a price and even wrote it down. However, on the day of my appointment, when I arrived, the price had increased by $120. She said it was because of the X-rays, which I thought were included. So, I canceled my services completely, but I was still charged $195.
This was the worst experience I have ever had. I don’t recommend going here because they overcharge patients who are paying out of pocket.

I’ve been coming to Aiken Family Dentistry for years, and Dr. Patel and the team are amazing. I recently had a root canal and dental implants done, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The root canal was painless, and Dr. Patel made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. My implants feel natural and fit perfectly. The staff is always friendly, and the care I’ve received long-term has been outstanding. I trust them completely and will continue to come back for all my dental needs!

I’ve had three appointments here so far and my experience has been very positive. The dentist and staff took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout each visit. I appreciate how thorough they’ve been and how seriously they take patient care. Scheduling has been smooth, and the office feels professional and welcoming. I’m glad I chose this practice and plan to continue my treatment here.

Aiken Family Dentistry: They're simply fantastic! From the time you step inside their office to check in for an appointment, their reception staff are friendly and well-organized to ensure all goes as it should. They have excellent hygienists: they're gentle as well as knowledgeable and take care to explain every step to you. They have a fantastic dentist as well—one who truly cares for you.
