Haven’t been to an oral surgeon since getting my wisdom teeth removed. Had surgery back in January and during that time had a cut that ultimately turned into a bone spur on inner Jaw. Dr Leonard saw me on short notice, was able to remove that during consultation, and proactively suggested fixing an area of my gum around my molar where my wisdom teeth were removed. Always been weary of needles but he did a fantastic job keeping me pain free and kept asking if I was okay. What really stood out though was his compassion to making sure I was okay provided me easy contact if needed. Just don’t see that often anymore. Should I ever need anything in the future I will gladly be returning here.

I was so nervous about having to get a tooth extracted. I found akeso on zoc doc and booked with them and they made everything so easy. Even moving my consult to right before the intended extraction to save me time and visits to the office. Dr Leonard could not have been more kind and accommodating. He eased my anxiety and explained everything to me and made sure I understood. The billing is very upfront too which is nice because there are no questions or surprise bills later on. I would recommend akeso to anyone!

I scheduled a consultation on March 5, 2026, for my son to have his wisdom teeth removed. When I initially made the appointment, I spoke with someone at the front desk and informed them of the type of insurance we carry. They then sent new patient paperwork, which I completed in full, including entering all of our insurance information. More than a week later, we arrived for the appointment, provided our insurance information again, and went through the entire consultation process—only to be told afterward that they are out of network with our insurance provider. The consultation fee alone is $261. There was more than enough time between scheduling the appointment and the actual visit for this information to have been verified and communicated. Instead, this resulted in a complete waste of our time, unnecessary completion of paperwork, and sharing personal information that ultimately did not need to be provided. Most importantly, it has delayed care for my son, as we now have to restart the process and find a new provider. Additionally, the matter-of-fact attitude of the benefits coordinator when explaining the situation felt unprofessional and dismissive. That said, the dentist who conducted the consultation was excellent. He was personable, engaging, and related well to my son, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, due to the lack of professionalism and attention to detail from the administrative staff, I would not recommend this practice.

I needed an urgent dental appointment and was very fortunate to get one in Akeso and with Dr. Jake Lazer as my dentist. This was while I was on holiday and far from home, dealing with severe dental pain. From the moment I walked in, the entire team was incredibly kind and accommodating. The reception staff and dental assistants made me feel welcome and at ease during a very stressful situation. Dr. Lazer took the time to clearly explain all my options and walked me through each step of the procedure. He was calm, reassuring, and genuinely caring throughout the entire visit. Being away from home and in pain could have made this experience overwhelming, but his professionalism and compassionate approach made all the difference. If you ever find yourself needing urgent or emergency dental care in the area, I highly recommend Dr. Lazer and his team. Truly an outstanding experience during a difficult time.

My experience at Akeso was excellent. The staff was so nice and I was able to get a quick appointment to have a tooth extracted. I called several other dental surgery offices who all wanted to do a consultation and then another appointment to extract the tooth. Akeso did it all in one day! Dr. Leonard was so nice and walked me through every aspect of the process. No pressure to have anything done that I did not want done. I would highly recommend their office in Westminster.
