Two surgeries, one with Ueeck and the other with Nordstrom. Each step of the process is explained and they never rush. Both docs answer all your questions, the clinical nursing staff is unparalleled, and the front desk is wonderful. I dealt with Sierra over both surgeries, and she's sooooo kind and patient. The office is modern, as are the surgical suites. The family waiting room is a nice touch. I would recommend this whole outfit without reservation.

Office staff is wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Dr. Nordstrom and his assistants are very professional and thorough. I had an infected tooth extracted and a bone graft added. Then a few months later I had 2 implant posts put in. Both procedures went smoothly and quickly. They explained everything they were going to do and answered every question I had.

Dr Ueeck and his staff were wonderful! My surgery experience was comfortable and I felt very well cared for. Every appointment was smooth and painless. The office staff as well as the clinical staff were so pleasant and extremely professional that I felt right at home in their care. Thank you so much, Dr Ueeck for guiding me safely and efficiently through this dental process and for having such a “top notch” team!🌟

A wonderful experience from start to finish! All of the staff were warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Dr. Nordstrom was very patient and thorough during my exam. We discussed different options for solving my issues. He described each in detail, answered my questions, and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision.

Careful thoughtful consult received here for my husband’s required tooth extractions. Laurie, medical/ dental assistant did a great job preparing for Dr. Nordstrom to review my husband’s needs. Dr. Nordstrom, DDS, MD, FACS, was very thorough and explained his plan well, including the fact that much of his work would be covered by our medical insurance and not just dental insurance. And Sierra, Treatment Coordinator, presented us with a clear plan, outlining how and when procedures would happen and the payment plan and insurance coverage. All in all a good experience. Referred by Dr. Brett Lopez at Alcan Family Dental. Looking forward to the work being done in January.

About Alaska Center for Oral & Facial Surgery - Dr. Eric Nordstrom
Alaska Center for Oral & Facial Surgery, located on the fourth floor of the Arctic Boulevard medical building in Anchorage, offers surgical dental implant care under the direction of Dr. Eric Nordstrom. The practice is Alaska's only AAAHC accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery practice, and provides single tooth implants as well as full arch replacement options including All-on-4 style treatment for patients missing most or all of their teeth. Patients are evaluated and treated in a state of the art surgical facility rather than a general dental office, which allows for a higher level of monitoring during implant placement and sedation.
Dr. Nordstrom is a dual degree provider who holds both a dental degree and a medical degree, and he is board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He also practiced general dentistry for several years before completing medical school, a general surgery internship, and a surgical residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery, giving him a broad clinical background for complex implant and jaw cases. The Anchorage office serves patients from across Southcentral Alaska who need wisdom teeth removal, corrective jaw surgery, and dental implant surgery, and the practice emphasizes a calm, patient centered approach for people who may feel anxious about surgical procedures.
