Don't use if you have Medicaid
After waiting 5 days and finally calling after being told to wait... I was told the Doctor wasn't willing to take my case.
Great馃槶..
Thanks for waiting 5 days while I'm in extreme pain to tell me no. I don't even care that you don't want to take my case but giving me the run around every time I called and then telling me no is upsetting. I'm a real person with pain waiting for your decision. 馃挃

Needing a tooth extraction that is causing extreme pain. Only to be told last minute, they can't do it. This place lacks principle. Then on top of it. Cold stares from the receptionist. It was a terrible experience. Perfect example of people who shouldn't be in the medical field.

A great office! The staff listened to my concerns and explained every step of the surgery for a tooth extraction. The biller was super knowledgeable and let me know what my insurance would cover and how much. I really enjoyed the experience despite losing a few teeth :P

About Alaska Oral Surgery Group
Alaska Oral Surgery Group is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice located on Old Glenn Highway, serving patients from Eagle River, Anchorage, Wasilla, and the surrounding area. The practice focuses on surgical solutions for missing or failing teeth, including dental implants, All-on-4 treatment, and full-arch implant restoration, alongside general oral surgery services such as wisdom teeth removal and tooth extractions. Patients considering implants can expect a surgical team that also handles related procedures like bone grafting, which often supports implant placement when jawbone density needs to be rebuilt first.
The practice is led by Dr. Bradley J. Szutz, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who completed dental school before pursuing additional surgical training and earning board certification in his specialty. Because the team specializes specifically in oral surgery rather than general dentistry, patients are typically referred here by a family dentist for implant placement and other surgical procedures, then return to their regular dentist for the restorative crown or denture work. For anyone in the Eagle River or greater Anchorage area exploring dental implants, this practice offers a dedicated surgical option focused on that scope of care.
