Had two teeth extracted (one surgical, one normal). Dr Kennedy and his team did an amazing job making sure I was comfortable and felt no pain whatsoever. Also made the healing process very easy with minimal pain. Highly recommend to anyone needing extensive dental work.

I went in for my wisdom teeth removal and I couldn鈥檛 be more pleased. The staff is well trained and makes you feel very very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for someone looking to get an oral surgery done.

First off... they waited 48 hours before telling us that it was going to be a $165 consultation, we think that could have been said way before that. We arrived at 1:30 p.m. with our special needs son that is wheelchair bound and they have no handicap accessible parking anywhere on their property... I go in to ask if they have any handicap spots and she said no... I then tell her that there鈥檚 no parking for our Ford F-250 and she says what do you want us to do about it... I then say... y鈥檃ll make to much money up in this piece to be so disrespectful to special needs folks... cancel our appointment... we鈥檒l be reviewing this... she said... that鈥檚 fine! This is why Louisiana is in the top 10 worst states to live in... Praise God we鈥檙e Floridians here on vacation!!!! Horrible customer service and then not accessible for handicap folk... why is this? Calling the city to check on this situation, for sure... (7-28-23) After contacting the Fire Marshal and starting a investigation... we received a phone call that they have to do some changes and become ADA Compliant by law!!! Being made to... that says a lot for the place because it鈥檚 2023!!!

Alexandria Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center serves patients from across the Central Louisiana region who are looking to replace missing teeth with dental implants. The practice offers dental implants for single teeth and full dentures, along with All-on-4 and full-arch treatment options. Dental implants use a titanium post that replaces the tooth root, topped with a custom-made prosthetic tooth or bridge attached with an abutment, and the practice notes implants have a high success rate.
For patients who need it, the practice also provides bone grafting to restore the jaw bone and create a stronger foundation for implants, as well as implant-supported dentures for those who have lost most or all of their teeth. The practice states it has provided oral surgery care in the area for over 30 years, treating patients with respect and working to make each procedure as comfortable as possible. If you are considering dental implants, the team encourages you to reach out to their Alexandria, LA office to learn more about your options.
The practice's clinical team includes Fred W. Smith, DMD, MD, JD and P. Steven Arnold Jr., DMD, MD.
