I recently completed my dental implant process with Dr. Nejat, also known as “The Magician,” and the team at Advanced Periodontics & Implant Dentistry. I was initially nervous about the surgery, but the nurses and Dr. Nejat’s bedside manner—along with accommodating my music requests—made me feel completely at ease throughout the procedure.
Stephanie, the Patient Coordinator, was incredibly helpful during the entire process. She patiently and honestly answered my long list of questions, always with a warm smile and a genuinely caring attitude.
Last but not least, the wonderful front desk team made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Their friendly personalities, sense of humor, and excellent scheduling made every visit smooth and stress-free.
The procedure itself was much easier than I expected, thanks to the amazing support from everyone in the office. I even fell asleep and woke up with a beautiful set of white teeth!
My new implants look and feel just like my natural teeth. I can finally eat without worry—especially enjoying my favorite sweets again. Most importantly, I no longer have to deal with cavities, root canals, or the inconvenience of removing partials in public places.
I know there are many options out there, but I highly recommend Advanced Periodontics & Implant Dentistry office to anyone considering dental implants or restorative work.

When I first went to Dr. Richard Nejat, I had experienced a lot of dental trauma and had a serious fear and anxiety around dental work.
Eventually it became medically necessary for me to address my teeth, so I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Nejat. Even though I walked into that first appointment extremely nervous, I left feeling confident that I was in the right hands. The entire team took the time to answer all of our questions about the surgery, timeline, recovery, and financing, and long term care of dental implants.
The patient coordinator, Penny, was especially helpful and made sure we felt completely comfortable and confident moving forward with dental implants.
Dr. Nejat is truly a pioneer in this field and one of the top implant dentists. If you’re going to get implants, you should go to the best.
Over the years, their team has supported me through my entire dental healing journey, and every visit has been welcoming and reassuring. Before my implants, I was embarrassed to smile, nervous about meeting new people, and even hesitant to advance in my career because I worried I’d be judged for my teeth.
Today I smile confidently in photos and regularly get compliments on my smile. The team also spent a lot of time designing my new smile to make sure it looked natural, not like dentures or veneers.
Now my wife also goes to Dr. Nejat’s brother, Dr. Daniel Nejat, for her regular dentistry. We’ve had a great experience with the entire practice. If you have dental fear or trauma, I know it’s really scary to move forward with fixing your smile, this office will make you feel welcome and you won’t feel judged. You will receive great care.

I have been a patient at Nuva Dental for many years and I highly recommend them. The facility is clean and features modern technology. Dr’s and hygienist were gentle, explained every step of my procedure and made sure I felt completely at ease. The front desk staff is also warm and helpful. Best dental experience.

Thank you to Advanced Periodontics & Implant Dentistry in NYC for making this process easier. I began my upper arch journey in July 2025- My soft bones, osteopenia & osteoporosis made my upper teeth very weak and failing. I first consulted with my own dentist (DDS) asking him about the full arch process. He is very 'old school' and believed you should NEVER remove a natural tooth. In my upper jaw, I only had 2 natural teeth, 3 post/crowns and a permanent 3 tooth bridge that was failing after 30 years all different shades of color. His belief was keep on adding individual implants.
So I began my endeavor for permanent teeth options. I went to 2 Implant Centers first. The problem here is you are being "sold" services from a consultant. I met with other dentists (DDS) and (DMD) too- should I remove those natural teeth?
I had met Dr. Daniel Nejat before and his calmness and expertise made me feel very comfortable. The office staff, Stephanie and all the techs & assistants were all very professional and made me feel at ease. They use the newest advanced imaging- not just 360* but an Intraoral Scanner which produces images of every curve, crevice and item in your mouth to ensure a perfect fit (it's incredible) and they have a 3-D printer on site to make your temps while you heal in recovery about 6 hours.
I had my upper arch temps placed 12/5/2025 and I am Extremely Thankful and Happy! Advanced Periodontics & Implant Dentistry in NYC. I had little bruising- very little swelling and a beautiful full arch of top teeth without worry a something may fall out! Thank you @Dr Daniel Nejat DMD for your gentleness and caring through this process. The whole team here was on point. I recently got a same day smile at Advanced Periodontics & Implant Dentistry, although apprehensive at first. I sat down with Stephanie and she explained everything in detail as to what I should expect, I then had a consultation with Dr. Rich. long story short they exceeded all my expectations and I now have a smile that I love!
