I had a tooth extracted by Dr. Godwin at the Castle Shannon location. In all honesty, I was a little nervous considering my age, but it ended up being a very pleasant experience. Dr. Godwin explained everything he was going to do before he did it, asked me throughout the procedure if I was okay, was very compassionate, and I couldn't of felt any more at ease than I was. Michelle was in the room with us (I think that was her name. Sorry, but I'm bad with names) and she took good care of me throughout the procedure. The entrie staff from check-in, during the procedure, and check-out were absolutely AWESOME!!! My appt. was at 8:00 and I was pulling out of the parking lot at 8:35. I even got a phone call the next day to see how I was doing. I highly recommend AOMS. Dr. Godwin and his staff are wonderful folks and they will take really good care of you!!

The staff is friendly and attentive in the office. Dr. Godwin has a great demeanor! I'm giving 5 stars for treatment, however, I left two messages to schedule and called a third time before getting a person. Friendly as well just not good at returning calls.

I was very anxious about needing an upper canine tooth extracted but AOMS made the entire process much easier and relaxing than I could have hoped for. From making the appointment on the phone to the actual procedure everyone was kind and extremely helpful and it all made me feel more at ease. Dr. Godwin was amazing. I highly recommend AOMS because of my experience with Dr. Godwin and the entire staff.

I was referred to AOMS by two friends who had had work done with them and had very positive experiences. And now and I can attest that yes, they are great here. Dr. Godwin was professional and kept me informed throughout the whole procedure. The tooth extraction only took about 20 minutes with no pain, and they were very clear with their postop instructions. Highly recommend!

Writing this review on behalf of my mom, Elsa, who had a major set of extractions on 12/19, to say that she can't recommend AOMS and Dr. Godwin highly enough. From the consultation to the day of surgery, Dr. Godwin and his staff were generous, kind, and exceptionally skilled in their care. Our whole family was dreading the surgery—my mom has had difficult experiences with dental care in the past—but it turned out to be an efficient and painless one for her, thanks to Dr. Godwin's talent and caring spirit. Her post-op recovery has been very smooth, and she talks each day about how grateful she is for Dr. Godwin, Regina, and everyone at the AOMS Mt. Lebanon office. Our family sends deep thanks to them—and a wholehearted recommendation to anyone who might need this kind of service!
