Dr. Holtzen was fantastic as was his front desk and nursing staff. My grandson was in and out of surgery in no time getting 4 wisdom teeth extracted. They covered all the bases with informational handouts and the opportunity to meet with Dr. Holtzen with any questions right before surgery. Brady has minimal swelling, has only needed ibuprofen for pain relief and is on his way to a full recovery. Also, I highly recommend PRF as an additional aid in healing which they offer if you are interested.

Son’s surgery went fast and smooth. He’s in very little pain in his recovery from wisdom teeth removal, and Tylenol and ibuprofen has been all he’s needed. They took great care of our son and we were well informed preceding the surgery of what to expect for the surgery and follow-up care. Lots of reminder texts helped this busy mom and I appreciated knowing exactly what we’d owe for copay the day of his surgery. I also liked the video call with the nurse to address any questions we had prior to the surgery. Having the surgery here in Hamilton made things a lot easier for us too. Great experience!

Went in for a wisdom tooth extraction which couldn’t have gone any smoother. The pre-op and post-op instructions were clear, the staff was friendly and facility was nice. There was always someone available to answer my many questions. Dr. Holtzen was personable and reassuring. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him for any future dental surgeries.

BEWARE! Hamilton Office- Horrible first contact refused to make an appointment to assess a tongue growth until I first set up another appointment to assess my ability to pay, delaying treatment for pain. They do not honor Medicare, (who else does this ????) so seniors are expected to pay CASH, including $$ for the appointment to assess financial abilities!!!! I have never been treated so rudely. Other reviews mention extensive waits even with scheduled appointments. Courtesy is expected, but trust is essential, I would never trust this clinic.
There are certainly more appropriate Oral Surgeons, but you may have to drive a little further, I certainly will.
Before you believe Google reviews, you should read the reviews on Yelp, this clinic only has a 2.9 rating!

I am a bit older & needed a wisdom tooth extracted. Dr Holtzen was recommended to me by my dentist. I am completely happy with my procedure from beginning to end. The staff was very helpful & efficient, the clinic was very clean, I had a very nice chat with his assistant while waiting to get numb it helped to keep my anxiety down. Dr Holtzen kept me informed throughout the procedure. I was in & out of there in no time. I now have an oral surgeon I can depend on and will refer friends & family to his practice.
