Here for a procedure and I was much more nervous than my child. Appointment was for him not me. The staff clearly understood and explained the process to me and had me at ease. Thank God everything went well, staff was always pleasant and smiling . Nice positive vibes for early morning appointment. Not to mention one of the nurses helped my son to the car, so caring and reminded me more than once if I had any concerns not to hesitate to call them . Blessings to all.

First time here. From the start of my visit being greeted by Alicia, to my care team Dr Runkle & Jahill, to the end when Leo tries to painlessly present the cost of it all, it was a great experience. Everyone was friendly and I received quality service.

They are the most helpful and accommodating dental office I have had the pleasure of visiting. They did implants for me at the end of last year and I am totally satisfied. This time I checked in to have a root canal checked that I did some time back.....all good. Thanks for being an awesome practice and Dr. Fontana is the best. Jeff Snavely

I've been to many dentists over the years and developed an extreme phobia towards them. However, when I started to get a toothache that was persistent I had to do something. So the search for one that could see me and get the tooth pulled started. After calling 4 dentists that could not help me with one telling me that they could see me in the middle of November, I almost gave up finding one. So I'm so glad I found American Dental! First off, since I called around 5 pm on a Thursday they couldn't see me that day but got me in early the next day on Friday. The receptionist, x-ray tech and finally the dentist were extremely helpful, sympathetic and pleasant. The dentist agreed that I would need an extraction and asked me if I could go to their office in Kennhorst (I was at the office on Perkioman Ave) in an hour which I could. I appreciate the urgency of getting this looked at as I was in severe pain. She also prescribed antibiotic and painkiller. I went to the Kenhorst office where the staff and doctor were equally pleasant and accommodating and saw me immediately where I met with the dentist who after a quick examination scheduled to get the tooth removed the following Tuesday morning which was the earliest they could do which although I wish it was right away or sooner, it was what it was. The dentist also asked me if I would want anesthesia or just novocaine. I orginally said novocaine because I didn't know if my insurance would cover anesthesia which I would definitely want if it did. It was quite the painful weekend but I called on Monday to ask if I could get anesthesia as I was stressing over the procedure and asked them to check if insurance would cover it. The rep was extremely helpful and left a message for the dentist who called me back within a half hour with the good news that insurance would cover anesthesia in full and would be no problem for my Tuesday morning appointment. Tuesday rolled around and let me say that it was a breeze! It was quick and not painful except for a little soreness which lasted the day and now I feel 100 percent better. Sorry this review is long but wanted to give a well rounded review of a great experience for an otherwise painful process and if somebody else is experiencing tooth pain this is definitely the office to go to. They accept a large number of insurances and the service is top notch and don't think you will find better then here. Save your time looking and give them a call. Thank you American Dental for getting me up and running again!

Your staff is wonderful including Dr Runkle, his assistant who helps me with my dentures & Leo. I used to be petrified of the dentist but no longer!!
