WOW! Amazing Experience!! Who would have thought I'd ever say that about getting teeth pulled!? Dr. Lauren and Janet have incredible bedside manners - they go out of their way to make you feel like a human, and not just a number. Their kindnesses not only put you at ease, but also literally make you feel comfortable (with a fuzzy blanket even!!). The environment is more like a spa than a medical office. The procedure was expertly done and I am so grateful my dentist put me in her hands. I will forever tell everyone I know to go see her!

“Service and a Smile!” With the Thanksgiving holiday weekend just behind us, I felt it was incumbent upon me to express my heartfelt gratitude to Gary, Dr. Anderson, Christine, Rachel and the entire Anderson Periodontal Wellness team. You may already know the word-of-mouth on Anderson Periodontal is as good as it gets. But I bet you didn’t know that Dr. Anderson is a ‘tooth’sayer and Gary Martino is 'Gary Gary' good. Well, it’s the ‘tooth!’ And what gives me the experience to claim this? Am I a professional? No. I’m a patient who was fresh out of ‘patience’ with another dental group who offered a number of preliminary treatments leading up to one of many surprising mouth restorations that were advised but didn’t have the time to explain them to me. When I finally managed to get a response to my question(s), I received one. And it was far less than satisfactory; basically "no worries, let us take care of it.” While I tried to maintain a stiff upper lip, I have a problem with the “because I said so” (subtle or otherwise) approach and expressed my frustration to Gary who not only offered, but actually gave me his valuable time—stepping in where he & his team had little to gain (as they don’t offer restorative crowns) in order to save the day and most likely my tooth and health in the process. That outcome is sure to be detailed in another near future review. There are many dentists entering the wellness space (biological, functional, holistic, and/or integrative) these days and I get it. The market is ripe for it. But not all dentists get it—or have the chops, either one. This is where the rubber meets the road, where actions speak louder than words as there’s no such thing as “dental care” without a caring dental team. And this is what separates Anderson Periodontal Wellness from the rest. They get it and they have it. As a woman who’s a bit long in the tooth, I’ve learned over the decades that all dentists and doctors are basically good at their craft—until the patient has a problem: that’s the true test of a great dentist or doctor. And Anderson Periodontal aced that test and proved their mettle once—again. Yes, I’m a former patient who was relieved when I was referred to Anderson Periodontal for something I never thought I’d have: a tooth extraction! Gary patiently took his time to explain what the other group had failed to do, and then addressed all of my concerns one by one. He clearly understands that words of comfort—authentically and skillfully administered are the oldest therapies known to men and women—in any profession. And perhaps now, he really knows how much his time meant to me. Bottom line: Anderson Periodontal may not offer crowns to their loyal subjects (aka patients) but they certainly don them!

I took my child to Dr. Anderson recently for a surgical procedure, and Dr. Anderson and her staff were absolutely phenomenal. My child was very nervous, and they made her feel at ease, while age appropriately explaining every step of the process. Not only was the quality of the work exceptional (as a dentist myself, I was so impressed!), but my child left feeling relaxed and proud. I highly recommend Dr. Anderson and would happily make the 1.5 hour drive to her office in the future.

Lovely office, great staff, only downfall is they book far out but it’s expected, and nice to see because it means that they are good! They also have a little nature area that you can see out the windows.

This was an extremely enjoyable experience! It was a blessing to be in the hands of competent staff and a true professional doctor. They communicated clearly every step of the way, yet still moved very fluently and efficiently through the process. I had an extraction and it couldn’t have gone smoother. I am someone that doesn’t enjoy Denistry because of past experiences. I wish all dentists had the bedside manner and the staff, and knowledge level of Dr. Lauren Anderson.
