The entire team at Andover Periodontics is just phenomenal. With Dr. Dona's help I was able to reverse a lot of my gum issues. She was always kind, empathetic, and I always felt like she was truly invested in my gum health and progress. The best team I have ever worked with! Thank you!!

I recently had two dental implants placed by Dr. Maria Dona, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience. From the very first consultation, Dr. Dona was incredibly thorough, kind, and professional. She took the time to explain each step of the procedure and made sure I was comfortable and informed throughout the process. The procedure itself went smoothly, and her attention to detail and gentle approach made what could have been a stressful experience feel surprisingly easy. Her team was also wonderful—welcoming, efficient, and clearly committed to patient care. If you’re considering dental implants or need a periodontist, I highly recommend Dr. Dona. She’s truly exceptional at what she does, and you’ll be in great hands.

I have had extensive gum surgery,and deep cleanings. Dr Dona and staff are wonderful. I highly recommend Dr Dona she is awesome, knowledgeable and very honest. She will explain to you what she is going to do prior to doing it. I can't say enough!

The practice notes she was selected by her peers as a Boston Top Dentist every year from 2017 through 2024. Dr. Sheila E. Tucker, DMD, MMSc, began her career as a dental hygienist after graduating from the Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists in 1975 and went on to study biology at Boston University, where her research focused on periodontitis, before earning her dental degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and completing postdoctoral periodontology training and a Master in Medical Science degree at Harvard University. Dr. Jessica Latimer, DDS, DMSc, is a practicing periodontist in the Greater Boston area and a part-time faculty member in the Department of Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
