If I could give 0 stars I would. Ihad high expectations for this place but i guess looks can be deceiving. I was denied treatment for a wisdom tooth extraction because I was pregnant even though I had clearance from my OB stating I was good to have the extraction done. They refused and said the would not do it until I gave birth which would have me waiting in pain for 8+ months. They still absolutely denied me with no explanation other than because you're pregnant not why it effects it or why you truly didn't want to do it. So I ended up going to another oral surgeon, SA-OMS, who actually took 3 hours to talk to us, explain and went into details and said he would do it. I got the surgery done no problem. So I do not recommend this place whatsoever. If you are looking for an oral surgeon who truly cares about their patients and not the money, go to SA-OMS just across the street from these people.

Kind & polite staff, Dr Tony Montgomery is one of the best oral surgeons. He was very professional & efficient, talked to me throughout the extraction of my tooth & reassured me as he worked. His assistant was nice & kept me calm so I wasn’t so nervous.

We saw Dr Tony Montgomery for the first visit. We were greeted by the staff with smiles and a genuine welcome. The office was beautifully decorated, bright and for sure the most beautiful Rubber plant in the entry enclosure.
We were seen as scheduled. Dr Montgomery was informative regarding the upcoming procedure and asked if we had more questions.
We are more than pleased with the San Angelo Oral Surgery facility.

The office staff is friendly and helpful. The Dental Assistants are absolutely amazing! They are so helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. I can’t say enough about Dr Ryan Montgomery! He is very genuine, friendly, honest, and very compassionate. He explains the issue with your situation during the consultation. He and his staff makes sure you are comfortable on your surgery date. He personally called to check on me to ensure I wasn’t having any issues after surgery. Dr Montgomery has pulled several of my teeth and will be pulling another one next week. He is the only surgeon I fully trust. Please give him and his team a chance if you need oral surgery.

Dr. Tony was great. He explained everything needed done for my first appointment and explained a good game plan for moving forward. He answered all questions and the staff was great. Very sweet and kind.

Meet the Doctors
The practice's clinical team includes Dr. Ryan Montgomery and Dr. Tony Montgomery, brothers who both practice oral and maxillofacial surgery at Angelo Oral Surgery and Dental Implants. Dr. Ryan Montgomery earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, then completed a six-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Louisville, where he also earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. His training covered wisdom teeth extractions, intravenous sedation and general anesthesia, complex bone grafting, dental implant therapy including full mouth reconstruction, facial trauma, pathology, and corrective jaw surgery. He also volunteers on surgical mission trips abroad. Dr. Tony Montgomery graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and completed five years of residency training, including a one-year internship at LSU Shreveport followed by four years at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, with training in corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma surgery, and general anesthesia. He moved to the Concho Valley in 2022.
