I see the other reviews and they're so positive. I wish I had the same experience. Reception was wonderful as was the Dentist. The lowest point of the visit hands down came from the x-ray tech. The lack of professionalism was so disheartening. So much so, I asked her if she was ok. Then I apologized if I said or did something to upset her. I can't imagine having had upset her from point A to point B. Maybe she was mad about something else, maybe it had nothing to do with me. Nevertheless I didn't deserve that.

No problem with dentist and staff. But the folks at the front desk, wow. I paid half of their estimated cost, knowing my insurance would pay other half. Over next few visits to complete procedure, they harassed me for more money. I kept telling them to put it through my insurance, then I'll pay what they don't. Then they lied and said it was denied. They hadn't even sent it in. It was almost impossible to talk to who did the billing. Finally they billed the insurance. Now they owe me money back. But yet again I had to complain to get a reimbursement. How they were chosen "Community Choice Award " winner is beyond me. Avoid this place! ****** I received a reply from someone from Apple Dental saying they submitted insurance claims as a courtesy to patients. But they did submitted a claim for the evaluation part of my procedure but they didn't submit the claim for the actual procedure. Instead I was told my claim was denied by the receptionist and was continually harassed by her for payment. I also want to clarify it was only one certain receptionist that was discourteous to me. My requested to talk to someone to resolve the issue only fell on deaf ears. After weeks of back and forth arguing they submited the procedure portion of the claim to my insurance company and the issue was finally resolved. Dr. Barwise was great, but having a expensive dental procedure is stressful enough and I don't appreciate the added stress of being harassed for money and being told over and over that the claim was denied when it hadn't even been submitted to the insurance company. I will not recommend them to anybody.

Truly disappointing. I visited Apple dental several times within very short period of time with 1 issue - filling keep falling off my tooth. Last week happened again. That’s the 3rd time. I called on Friday Apr24, made an appointment for Wednesday Apr29. But I asked the lady to double check if I have to pay for it since I don’t have insurance anymore or it still covered with what I paid before, I mean that’s not my fault it’s keep falling off, right?! Anyways, no one called me on Monday. On Tuesday another lady called me to confirm my app for Wednesday and I explained again that I need to verify payments first and she said she will call me back. Guess what, no one called me back. And my app for Wednesday was suppose to be at 9am, no one called me as well. I don’t mind paying for dental service, I just prefer it to be fair and to pay for things which last longer than 1 week. Will go somewhere else.

Apple Dental is the absolute BEST dentist office in Corpus Christi!!! I can’t say enough wonderful things about Apple Dental. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed and genuinely cared for. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and efficient—setting a tone of calm and comfort that continued throughout my visit. Dr. Wanek and the entire dental team were not only incredibly skilled, but also compassionate and attentive. They took the time to explain everything in detail, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I felt comfortable at every step. It's clear that they truly care about their patients' well-being—not just their teeth. What stood out the most was the gentle approach and attention to detail. I left feeling not only healthier, but also deeply grateful to have found a dental practice where I feel truly seen and respected. Apple Dental has completely changed how I feel about going to the dentist—now I actually look forward to it! Thank you for your outstanding care and kindness. I wholeheartedly recommend Apple Dental to anyone looking for top-tier dental care with a human touch.

First time here. I had a crown prep with deep cleaning, number check, xrays, 4 hours. Service is friendly, just for me in having all this in the same day is too long. I was hungry for sure, since I didn't eat before. Besides that, I appreciated the on call status to get me in ASAP to get the impression for my crown, along with the other extras. Friendly, professional, courteous, kind, highly recommended. My parents have been seen here for many years and enjoy the quality services provided by the Apple Dental Staff.
