I’ve been to several dental practices during my 15 years living in Columbus and this is by far the best. We are new to Westerville and both my husband and I go to arch city’s Westerville location. You have to ask for Janessa—just wow! I have Sensitive teeth, so cleanings are always painful. This was the first cleaning I’ve ever had that was painless. She listened to my concerns, was warm and friendly, and the teeth cleaning was 👍. The front desk was also very kind! Highly recommend.

I had been a patient since 2002. My recent visit was enlightening. I learned that Dr. Baloy had retired (but was not made aware of this). There has been a decided change in the office & not for the better. Hygienist did not schedule a 6 month follow up appointment nor did she offer type of teeth scaling that I would like done. Never received itemized statement- just got bill receipt. Had to call the next day to get the itemized statement only to find I was billed for a service that I had refused - it took almost 2 weeks & 4 phone calls/vms to have it refunded!!! Then the Dentist, Dr. Jeon informed me that I needed to have a crown done (over $2000)" sooner rather than later". I had never seen him, He had not been doing any monitoring of tooth status. He had no personality to speak of & I felt pressured to agree to having crown done. Told him I needed to think about this, being on a fixed income. I did have a 2nd opinion done at another office - "no crown was necessary" at this time. It also took over a week requesting to have the x-rays sent to their office in order to review them. I have NO PLANS to return to Arch City for dental care after this experience. AND I will NOT be recommending Arch City Dental to anyone. This would not have happened while Dr. Baloy was there.

As a patient of this practice for over 10 years, I am disappointed to leave this review. The front desk staff and hygienists have always been pleasant. However, the dental care I received was discouraging and has ultimately cost me thousands of dollars. In 2023, I began reporting tooth pain on the left side of my mouth. I was told that if I could not identify the exact tooth causing the issue, there was nothing they could do other than recommend a mouth guard. I could clearly identify the area of pain but could not pinpoint a specific tooth. Despite repeatedly explaining that the pain was affecting my quality of life, no additional diagnostic effort was made. I proceeded with the mouth guard at their recommendation, and my symptoms worsened. By summer 2025, I developed severe jaw issues and continued to experience persistent pain on the left side. Out of desperation, I identified a specific tooth. It was a tooth they had previously filled. The filling was redone, but the problem was not resolved. I have since found a new dentist who listened carefully to my symptoms. At my first visit, they performed a simple bite test that immediately identified the problematic tooth. The issue was corrected with a minor bite adjustment, and I can now chew on the left side of my mouth again. It is frustrating to know that a basic diagnostic step could have identified the issue years earlier. The lack of proper evaluation allowed the condition to worsen and contributed to jaw problems that ultimately required physical therapy. and a significant financial burden. I am extremely disappointed in the level of care provided by this practice.

Went in for a quick orthodontic fix of grinding down the edge of my permanent retainer. Previous dentists have done so without issue. Instead, they charged me $150 to add new glue. The glue dissolved within two weeks leaving the same issue and creating more of an issue. Now, 1/4 of the retainer isn't secured since the heat gun used to administer the glue ruined the previously fine adhesive. Based on this interaction, I cannot recommend this practice. The dental care was below average and left me with more problems than when I started. Additionally, they have a spot on the counter when leaving asking for reviews with prizes for doing so.
