Was able to get in quickly from cancellation list. The staff kept me in the loop to let me know how much I would be responsible for, ahead of time. Staff was informative and pleasant as well. Was called back for appt in a timely manner and had opportunity to ask any questions.
Met with Dr. Joel and he explained the imaging results and what needed to be done.
Scheduled procedure for a few weeks out.
All in all, so far, a good interaction, and pleasantly surprised!

Aspen has been amazing to me. I’m not the biggest fan of the dentist and they take that in to consideration everytime I’m there. I’ve had a root canal done there and that was such a breeze, Dr. Jose is so gentle and patient plus takes the time to explain what he’s doing. His after care instructions were awesome as well. I’ve also had a few fillings done as well and when I needed breaks or adjustments for comfort they were on it. I’m so grateful I found Aspen!

I’ve had 2 crowns done at aspen. The first was a replacement crown a year ago that cracked in half. New crown was made and test fit a week later. Dr Patel wasn’t satisfied with the fitment and had a new one made. She wasn’t satisfied with the second one either. They switched suppliers and the 3rd one fit perfectly. Last week I had another crown done on a molar. The new crown came in and Saturday it was placed and it fit perfect the first time. Looks and feels like a real tooth. Can’t even tell it’s there. They may be a little on the pricy side, but from my experience, you get what you pay for. They go above and beyond. Excellent staff!!

I had a dental emergency over the holiday weekend and my dentist was unable to get me in until the following week. I called around, and Aspen was able to get me in that day. They were very kind and accommodating and fixed me up on my first visit!

Asked me to come in an hour early just to make me wait 30 minutes and counting... 40 now as of my update. Should've just told me to come in at a normal time.
They aren't very good at communicating what I need, I was told I was getting a filling last time, and then after that got done they said I need a crown, at least tell me before I get stuff done it's gonna cost an extra 500 dollars before I spend 350 on getting the first bit done, temporary filling only lasts so long.
The first Ortho appointment I had, the man seemed more interested in sounding smart than making this a good experience.

Aspen Dental in Alliance, Ohio is located at 1630 State Street, Suite E, in the same shopping plaza as Panera Bread. The office serves patients from Alliance as well as Sebring, Louisville, Salem, Beloit, and surrounding Stark County communities. It offers general, restorative, cosmetic, and emergency dental care under one roof, including dental exams and cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, tooth extractions, wisdom tooth removal, teeth whitening, and Motto clear aligners. Same-day emergency visits may be available for tooth pain, swelling, or a broken or knocked-out tooth when the schedule allows.
For patients missing teeth, the Alliance office lists dental implants, implant dentures, full and partial dentures, and oral surgery among its services. A first visit includes a review of your dental and medical history, X-rays if needed, a full exam, and a conversation about treatment options with a written cost estimate before any work begins. The practice accepts most major dental insurance plans (Medicaid is not accepted) and works with third-party lenders to offer financing and payment plans. Office hours run Monday through Friday, with the office opening at 8:00am and staying open until 6:00pm on Thursdays.
Meet the Doctors
The Alliance office's dentist page lists Dr. Sejal Patel, who earned her dental degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, has been practicing since 2009, and is fluent in English and Hindi. The practice is owned by Dr. James Maurer, who received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry after earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from John Carroll University. The Alliance team page also lists Dr. Joel Jose, an endodontist (root canal specialist), and Dr. Min Hee Sur, an oral surgeon who holds both Doctor of Dental Surgery and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees.
