I had an outstanding experience with Jack and his assistant Amy—truly one of the best dental visits I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, they created an environment that was both welcoming and professional, immediately putting me at ease.
Jack is incredibly knowledgeable and precise in his work. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. His attention to detail and genuine care for his patients really set him apart.
Amy was just as wonderful—friendly, attentive, and highly skilled. She anticipated my needs before I even had to ask and made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. The teamwork between Jack and Amy is seamless, and it shows in the quality of care they provide.
If you’re looking for a dental team that combines expertise with compassion, I can’t recommend Jack and Amy highly enough. They turned what is usually a nerve-wracking experience into something genuinely positive.

Had a new pair of dentures made, my first new pair in 10 years. Initially, the fit was not great. But they made a quick adjustment appointment for me, almost next day. Natalie was the tech who handled the adjustment, and she did amazing. She took the time to listen to my concerns, and was able to fix them quickly and improve the fit significantly. Definitely will be back. But hopefully, not for another 10 years.

Seriously impressed by the level of service at Aspen Dental-Apache Junction! My husband and I are both patients. Wonderful looking facility, no long wait time, everyone quick and proficient at their positions! My Dental Assistant was Amy who was thorough with regard to intake and X-rays, followed by the Dental Hygienist, Jasmine, who inspected teeth and gums. Dr. Goersten while being educated and professional is also very down to earth, friendly and kind, so that’s refreshing! He also knows something about staffing, everyone including Front Desk and Check Out seemed so motivated to provided excellent customer experiences! Overall experience…a breath of fresh air!

WOW! Such a great experience. The staff was so accommodating. I have always been petrified to go to the dentist. Not any more. This professional group of ladies explained every step and performed flawlessly. I highly recommend Aspen Dental, Apache Junction, AZ to all in need of dental work and dentures. Natalie was so kind during the X-ray procedure that I told her she would get an honorable mention. I actually enjoyed going to the dentist - that is simply unheard of.

Visiting from out of state and had a dental emergency. I can not say enough how well I was taken care of. Dr Goertzen and hygienist Natalie along with office staff gave me excellent care! I was in good hands and very much appreciated the follow up call checking on me! I would highly recommend!

Meet the Doctors
The Apache Junction office is led by practice owner Dr. Jack Goertzen, DDS/DMD. Dr. Goertzen graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he also completed a residency in general dentistry, and went on to complete a one-year surgical residency at the University of Colorado Anschutz campus focused on oral surgery and implant dentistry. He has been with Aspen Dental since July 2024 and says he especially enjoys extractions and implant placements, including helping denture patients regain full chewing function. The office's clinical team also includes Dr. Lana Kayata, DDS/DMD, an associate dentist; Dr. Brett Barlow, an oral surgeon; and Dr. John Snee, an endodontist (root canal specialist).
