My appointment was super easy to understand and feel heard. Dr Bryan and Emily made my appointment feel comfortable and took the time to go through the reasons for my treatment. Dustin was also nice, he was helpful when going over cost and scheduling. Overall I had a great experience at Aspen Dental in Bangor and can’t wait to get my treatment started

I’ve been going to Aspen Dental for years, mostly for routine cleanings, and up until recently it was fine. I never needed anything extensive, so the fact that I didn’t have the same hygienist or dentist each visit wasn’t a big issue. In November, my appointment was rescheduled about a week beforehand and the next available opening wasn’t until January. Not ideal, but at least I was back on the schedule. I received confirmation texts, showed up on time, checked in, and sat down. After waiting, I was called up and told there was no hygienist chair available—even though I had a scheduled appointment. That was frustrating. The front office staff were clearly doing their best and seem to take the brunt of issues that are outside their control, so I didn’t take it out on them. They offered to put me on a cancellation list and reschedule, but the next available appointment wasn’t until December, which would have made it about a year and a half between cleanings. At that point, I decided it made more sense to look elsewhere. Getting my records wasn’t seamless—I had to go in, sign a form, and come back later—but one of the front desk employees was helpful and printed them for me. Overall, this felt like a classic corporate dentistry experience. It worked when things were simple, but scheduling and continuity became a real issue. Personally, I’m looking forward to switching to a more local practice.

My first appt. Feb.4 I was exrayed and sat with their business office and signed a contract and entered into a loan agreement, I am now in debt to care credit for payment to Aspen Dental. At the initial signing I was given all appt cards for the dates and time for my care. Three in total. I was also told if I didn't personally confirm each appt. I was given or appts would be cancelled. My first appt. Was great. Second, I waited quite a while but a walk in came in in pain so I understood. I drove 45 minutes and was 15 min early at 12:45 and was told my appt wasn't until 1:30. Let's just say the rec lied to me and got caught. First I wrote it down wrong, then we'll they'll be back and get you right in. Then when all these people with 1:00 appts get ushered thru and at 4:04 I walked out I furious. I have tried to reschedule but they didn't answer the phone. Med. Side great, business side sucks. It's kinda sketchy at best! I paid for a service that I haven't received.

For someone who hasn’t seen a dentist in a long time I was very pleased to be met with friendly staff and a breakdown of my dental health. The options of payment and affordability were also wonderful to experience as they gave me the overall pricing of what I would need to have better dental health with various options of payment. Everyone took the opportunity to introduce themselves and explain their process. Overall, I will continue my dental health management with them. ☺️

Everyone, from; reception, to the X-ray tech, Ali, Dr.Bryan, they all did a great job! Very professional, knowledgeable and kind. Even Sarah, at the checkout desk, was very helpful. She helped me develop a plan for the necessary work that I need to have done. Nothing but high marks for everyone!
