I went to this clinic due to severe dental pain, and I had just started as a resident. I don’t live in Ohio so going to my regular dentist was impossible. I decided to go here and they said I needed a root canal done. Well they gave me the total for everything and it was an astronomical amount for it being ran WITH insurance. I broke down into tears, already stressed from residency and now the severe pain I was dealing with. The office offered no financial guidance, no plans, nothing. Just paperwork showing an enormous bill and some random lady staring at me. I ended up leaving, in pain, not familiar with the area, and nowhere to turn. I ended up looking around and getting my teeth fixed for MUCH cheaper and years later still holds up very well! I only got around to writing this review years later because I’m finally in a much much better situation and I can actually process the traumatic experiences I faced during my residency year. I will never EVER recommend Aspen Dental (even as a whole) because I was put through, especially not this one.

My dental session lasted a little over 4 hours, the dentist who worked with me was very helpful in explaining the procedures to me, it was practically pain-free! I would like to commend their office staff for verifying my insurance and setting up my appointments in a very expeditious manner. Other places I had checked wanted to put me way out on the calendar. I would definitely recommend this place to others! :-)

My husband & Is experience at Aspen Dental in Bowling Green was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Appointments were rescheduled multiple times due to office issues, and when we finally came in, we waited well past our scheduled appointment times. When concerns about the delays were raised, the response from management was dismissive rather than helpful. We were also charged for products and treatments that were not clearly explained beforehand, including a Sonicare toothbrush, water flosser, mouthwash, and a fluoride treatment that was not covered by insurance. Several of these items were presented in a way that made them seem required rather than optional. The biggest concern was the treatment recommendations. Aspen advised both of us that we needed multiple fillings and additional dental work. Because the recommendations seemed unexpected given our recent dental history, we sought a second opinion. The second dentist found that my husband does not currently need any fillings, despite Aspen recommending 5 fillings and a root canal. I was told I need four fillings rather than the six recommended by Aspen. While dentists may not always agree, the difference was significant enough to make us question the original recommendations. We also had a difficult time obtaining our records and x-rays. We were told they had been sent to our new dentist when they had not been received, and it ultimately took an in-person visit and a lengthy wait to obtain copies. Overall, the combination of scheduling problems, long wait times, poor communication, unclear billing, difficulties obtaining records, and dramatically different treatment recommendations left us with very little confidence in this office. We have since transferred our care elsewhere.

This is the worst dentist office I have ever been into. I came in with a broken tooth with an exposed nerve, which is extremely painful. The walk in service was nice but once I got my exam. The dentist wanted to fix everything that was an issue on the x-rays. All I wanted done was to have the broken tooth extracted. They didnt want to do an extraction, they wanted to do a root canal. So I agreed to the root canal. After I signed the papers and paid in full for what I thought was a root canal. Turned out to be a huge dental treatment plan which had included a lot of extra work I did not approve of. They had racked up over $4k in dental work that I didnt want done. They didnt precribe me any pain meds or antibiotics until my second appointment 10 days later. Absolutely discussed by this company and how they treat people. Your just a payday to them. They do not care about their patents. If I could give zero stars I would. I requested a refund and they were so generous to return all of the money paid from my HSA account and take all the funds owed from my bank account. WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.

A few years ago they told me that the top four front teeth had no root and they’d need pulled for implants. Mind you, I’m 23 years old at the time. They also told me I had four cavities. I got one of them filled there. Flash forward to now, I was able to get into one of my relatives who is a dentist and has a very reputable practice in Perrysburg. Not only has it been three years later, but I have NO cavities and my four front teeth do in fact have roots, they are just short. Who knows if what they filled was even a cavity when I was there. SMH Aspen dental is simply a CASH GRAB.
