I went to Aspen Dental because I simply needed a crown re-cemented. Instead of addressing the issue I came in for, I was presented with a treatment plan totaling nearly $25,000 and told my insurance wouldn’t cover any of it. That didn’t sit right with me, so I got a second opinion from my regular dentist. They confirmed that I did not need the extensive work Aspen Dental recommended. My crown was treated without all the unnecessary procedures I was told I needed. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major treatment plan from Aspen Dental. I left feeling like I was being sold dental work rather than receiving honest patient care. I won’t be returning.

I really enjoyed my experience at this location. I've been going to Aspen Dental for a few years now and have always had positive experiences, but I switched to this office purely for convenience. I was honestly so impressed with how well-run everything was. Working in hospitality, I know how important that first impression at the front desk is. The wonderful person who checked me in was so kind, organized, and on top of everything. She immediately made me feel welcomed. My hygienist, Susan, was fantastic. She really knew her stuff and made the entire appointment enjoyable. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable about dental care, but we also had a great conversation about travel! The doctor who examined me was kind, straightforward, and evidence-based when discussing whether I should move forward with Motto treatment. Since my insurance doesn't cover any of it, I've been putting off the decision for over a year. I never felt pressured. Instead, the doctor, Susan, and the woman who helped explain my payment & options took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I understood everything. I left feeling confident about my next steps and genuinely excited to start getting my teeth straightened. Thank you to the entire team for such a great experience. I never felt like anyone was simply trying to sell me something—they truly cared about helping me make the best decision for my dental health

All of the staff have been very courteous and very welcoming. I love my dentists which I received the greatest care. However, there have been some hidden fees that I have been charged for which I don’t understand because I paid upfront for my entire services to be done. I went in one day to complete the whole schedule of services to be done when I came back the next day to pay in full. It went up another thousand dollars then during my adjustments. At one point I was charged $$129. I am still trying to get this settled but overall I have received great care and have been very happy with all of the staff. My teeth came out beautiful and I love to smile now.

Today I had the very best dentist experience of my life! Dr. Veal and Mama Sue were kind, warm hearted, and accommodated my every need. The whole Aspen Dental gang has been super helpful and friendly to me and I am very glad that I have found this place! All of you are so wonderful and amazing and I wish you all success in every one of your endeavors :) Thank you all for being so cool! I appreciate every one of you! First, I want to emphasize how incredible your staff is. Emily in finance has been a huge help, and Marley at the front desk has been absolutely fantastic since joining the team. ​On the clinical side, Susan is a wonderful hygienist, and I also want to recognize the other hygienist who recently moved to the Lapeer office. She went above and beyond to be the best, and I was very sad to hear she was moving. I also thought Dr. Smith was wonderful—I truly wish I could have worked with him throughout my entire treatment process. ​
