Everyone at Aspen Dental, Western Hills, works well together. Katrina took all the X-rays of my teeth with amazing expertise. Such new and innovative methods. Dr. Martin evaluated my teeth with the X-rays and proposed a plan to address the problems I was having. Nikki, Dental Hygienist, looked at teeth and explained the type of cleaning I would need. Finally, I spoke with the Billing representative and worked with her, a payment plan that would fit in my budget. They took out all the anxiety with going to the dentist.

I did not have a good experience! I called Aspen Dental to schedule an appointment for a dental hygienist to clean my teeth, but I was told I need to scheduled a check up appointment first, and so I did.
The appointment did not go well, I felt judgment from the doctor about not moving forward with the treatment they have suggested 2 years ago ( I didn't have the money). After that I was told I needed to sit with the office manager, he provided me with an estimate of almost $4000 for fixing my teeth (mainly cosmetics, for the most part my teeth are healthy). I declined as I don't have the money for it now. I asked to schedule a teeth cleaning appointment and was told the earliest appointment is in January.
I have a feeling that if I agreed to pay the $4000 I would have been able to schedule a much earlier appointment for the teeth cleaning... It felt very shady and unprofessional.
I also want to point out that I reached out to them first with my complaint and they didn't want to talk to me but instead gave me a 1800 number to call. I called the number and was on hold for 30 minutes. I gave up after that.
I will not come back or recommend this place.

If I can give no stars right now I would. They need to have a better system or more patience or something. They can learn how to schedule someone out better so when it comes the day before their appointment they’re not hit with a payment when their insurance is supposed to cover it. But it won’t because whoever scheduled my appointment out, it wasn’t within the time for my insurance to cover so they made me thinking all year since last October 2025 that I was set to be seen end of August 2026 to just be told if it was scheduled two more weeks it would be covered for free but no now I’m told I need to be seen in march 2027 for insurance to cover and since they’re booked out. Well if someone would have just scheduled me properly we wouldn’t have to issue and I wouldn’t have to wait over a year to be seen. Frustrating when someone thinks they’re taken care of just to be put on the spot to pay when someone hasn’t been working from a knee surgery and has to wait 5 more months for an exam and cleaning. Upsetting and ruins someone’s day because everyone is booked out now and can’t be seen anywhere. They’ll call me when someone cancels if that ever happens. Just more patience or knowledge of how things work could have be prevented or more time counting someone’s appointments out would have just solve this issue. I hope I find someone else before march 2026 so I don’t have to be seen by this place again. Thanks for ruining my day and letting me deal with this and letting my teeth health get worse :)

By far the worst experience ever!! I felt like I was visiting the dentist from the movie Little Shop of Horrors!! I Get very nervous and uncomfortable when I visit the dentist. When the dentist came in, I had just got finished crying and was visibly shaking. He told me to grow up and deal with it! He also held his hand over my nose and eyes while he was pulling my tooth…. At one point, I had to tell him to lift it up because I couldn’t breathe… Once he lifted it, I start gasping horribly. He was very friendly with his female staff and kept them smiling, but I definitely would not recommend Aspen dental after today’s visit. He cut his tooth out of my gums and then told me I didn’t need any pain medicine, He said they just take Tylenol or Advil. The one star that I give will go to the dental assistant Katrina because she was outstanding!! She made sure I was comfortable and was very empathetic to what I was going through. If you were ever gonna go to Aspen dental at any location, please enter your own risk!!!
