I went in this morning and the receptionist told me I made my appointment for next month and I couldn't believe it. She said she would try to fit me today and did. I'm so grateful and thankful that I was able to see the dentist. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. I highly recommend. I can honestly say compared to others I got a lot done in that one visit. I appreciate the team.

So just for context, I'm a physician and chose not to disclose that when I came in—I wanted a typical patient experience.l was evaluated at this practice and scheduled for extraction of both my lower wisdom teeth.
The process started smoothly, and I arrived on time and the wait wasn’t bad. During the procedure, I tolerated the first extraction as expected with pressure. However, during the second extraction, I experienced more than just pressure and sensitivity. At that point, I expressed some concern and I anticipated additional local anesthesia, but instead, not only was my concern dismissed but the course of the procedure changed in a way that was not clearly explained to me. The procedure was stopped midway through the second extraction after the gum had already been incised and an attempt at extraction was already made. I was told I would have to reschedule for general anesthesia.
There was no clear explanation beforehand that stopping and rescheduling under general anesthesia was a possibility. The decision may have been clinically appropriate, but the communication around it was abrupt and insufficient. This left me dealing with recovery from both a completed extraction and a partially attempted one, including increased swelling and concern for complications with an additional nearly $700 on top to cover for cost of anesthesia.
I showed up to my second appointment 30 min ahead of schedule and waiting 1:15 min past scheduled time. l completed the procedure under general anesthesia without issue, but based on the experience-particularly the inadequate communication of expectations and my overall experience — would not return to this practice.
I would recommend patients consider a practice that prioritizes clear expectations, communication, and intra-procedural responsiveness to patient discomfort. You deserve better.

Dr Oh gave me my smile back. He and his professional team are knowledgeable and caring. I'm so happy with everything. Also after 2 weeks I had a follow up appointment with the sweetest dental associate ,I didn't get her name, but she was very kind and
helpful. I will definitely recommend Aspen dental of Fayetteville. Aspen dental you rock!
Sincerely yours,

I would avoid this place at all costs! After completing my treatment and paying in full I received another bill that was twice as much as the treatment plan. Turns out they do not contact your insurance to get an accurate quote for the treatment plan. To make matters worse, they tacked on several services without discussing it with me! When I call to ask it to be removed they tell me you signed the pretreatment so you’re responsible. They can add whatever they want after you’ve reviewed and signed the treatment plan. They even preformed services that I declined on the pretreatment consultation. The cherry top is the service that is inflated by $200 versus the accounting I got from my insurance! Forget about calling them, they route you to some 3rd party that can’t do anything but route you to this location who will not answer the phone!
I have never experienced such disingenuous practices at a dentist in my life. I thought I found my dentist but I will not be subject to surprise $1k bills every time I visit. Take an extra 10 mins to get people accurate quotes!

This place is okay I guess. It’s not bad if you truly need a dentist. The staff was mostly kind. Unfortunately, this location is incredibly busy. There’s only one person to check in patients AND answer the phone - that’s incredibly impractical in such a busy practice.
My biggest issue was with the business operations. Because this clinic is so busy, things are not communicated well. I was told verbally and WRITTEN an appointment day and time that was incorrect. I actually showed up to the office that day and had to leave. The dentist and dental hygienists don’t seem on the same page. My care felt incomplete because I was not fully told my “diagnosis” or educated about it at all. Then after my cleaning, I find out I have to come in more often. Then, for the deep cleaning, I was charged $37 for a mouthwash that I had already received for much cheaper through my insurance - that’s was prescribed by the dentist. Why can’t this also be prescribed for the cleaning instead of overcharging patients for a generic mouthwash??
Hopefully the office stays true to their word and refunds me.
Either way, I won’t be back. The office is far too busy. I just felt like a number.
