The people at Aspen are friendly and professional! Their business model however, is not! Excessive x-rays were taken, despite my stating that I was ONLY interested in services covered by my insurance. The excess charge: $168. I was repeatedly told that after "evaluation" someone (turned out to be a high pressure salesperson) would go over my results (then in a barely audible murmur) and financing. The goal there seems to be to nice you into complacency, then switch you to a different person to "close the sale" and sell financing. In my case, at 73 years of age, with just two fillings in my mouth, no reason to be there except to evaluate if I will eventually need dental work & to inquire about tooth whitening, the salesperson hit me with an potential $11,600 bill....... AFTER my insurance portion. If my 73 year old body were an automobile, that would be like putting $11,600 worth of repairs into a 1985 Impala with 200,000 miles on it! Beware of the nice people who will flip you to the "closer" there. However, my wife had some work done there, emergency work that we did not care about the cost of and that work was about a 7 on a scale of 10. So they can be capable. Just beware of the scam charges for not really needed services that rack up a huge bill.

I have had 4 appointments so far at Aspen Dental in Gaylord and am very pleased with the staff and services received so far! I had my initial consultation & x-rays, then I had my teeth cleaned, I had my teeth whitened (or "bleached") by Raeann (sp?) and they came out 6 shades whiter!! I did not expect that kind of results! I received 4 fillings in my front top teeth. One of my two front teeth was broken and it looks fantastic now! The Intern Chris took his time and did an absolutely amazing job on my front teeth! I could not be more pleased! Toni assisted him and they had great rapport. They were both so nice! I was so self conscious of my smile because of the broken tooth and how dingy they were and had stopped smiling. Now I love my smile and am smiling and laughing a lot! I have more work to be done next month and am looking forward to getting it done.

Just a warning and heads up about this business’ billing practices… The staff is very kind and they were able to see me for an emergency appointment. However, after the exam and a ton of ex-rays, they had me wait for 40 minutes in a waiting area until I could speak with a “sales agent” (she even told me that she feels like a used car salesperson and her “office” was open to the main office with no privacy) who went over a treatment plan with me that spanned out 14 months. She then requested that I pay for it all right then and there! Thousands of dollars! I found it very odd because I have never had to pay that far out in advance for fairly routine dental work. The dentist did not ask me what I would like done or offer me any options at all. They basically told me what would be done. Again, very odd, something I have never experienced before at a dentist. I finally insisted that they pare it down to the necessary, immediate care needed. It took some wrangling to get them to do that. After all of that it still ended up being a 5 week plan that I was expected to pay for right then and there, in advance, even though I have dental insurance. I was in shock with their odd practices and I didn’t think that I had options, so I ended up paying them. After having a few days to digest their shady practices, I called this afternoon and requested a refund of what I have paid for the services that don’t even begin for well over one more week. I will find a dentist that uses ethical billing practices. I just can’t trust a place like this.

Super quick, friendly, skilled, helpful. All the good adjectives. They pulled three of my teeth a while back and everything went great. I didnt have insurance but they helped me anyway and even helped me set up a payment plan. I hope i dont have to go to the dentist again but if i do i will likely choose them.

Such a wonderful experience here! Friendly staff, very knowledgeable assistants, hygienists, and dentists. The assistant was great at giving x-rays, the hygienist told me more about a chronic condition with my teeth than I had ever known, and the dentists asked me if I had any questions at the end of the visit! I never felt rushed! Go here..you won’t regret it. SECOND REVIEW!!! Google will not let me leave a second review with the same account so I’m editing this one to let everyone know that I just had my first cleaning at this location and it was the most amazing cleaning I have ever had in my entire life!! I have never had a dental cleaning and felt no pain until today! They are fast, efficient, thorough, and so very friendly at this location! From the dentist to the hygienist to the receptionist… Everyone here is absolutely lovely, helpful, and warm! I travel a good distance to come here for my dental care because of how wonderful it is!
