Aspen Dental is running a racket. Don't go there. I've changed dentists a few times over the past few years due to insurance changes which is what brought me there. My first (and only) visit became a whirlwind of X-rays (18) and them telling me I wouldn't be getting my teeth cleaned because I need scaling and root planing to treat my periodontal disease. Told me it would cost me $2k. I left because I knew better. I'm 52 and have never had a cavity. No way I have periodontal disease to the point of they can't do a normal cleaning. Then I call my daughter who had recently told me she needed this procedure to find out where that was at. Aspen of course. Only they wanted a lot more money from her. That was in January. Today I went back to one of my old dentists and low and behold there was no issue doing a normal cleaning. I was in and out in just over a half hour. No periodontal disease. They really ought to be ashamed of themselves taking advantage of insurance companies and people who are scared thinking they might lose their teeth and have worsened health if they don't come up with a few grand for a procedure they don't need done.

I just started going to Aspen and I love it! Everyone there is great! If you find problem with anyone there I think it’s more on you than them. The front staff is so welcoming, all the DA’s were so friendly and nice! Dr Joy was very informative and kind. I felt she really cared about getting my mouth ‘healthy’. After visiting with Alyssa I didn’t feel like she saw me as just money but as a person that has issues that need to be fixed and she was very helpful in every way to work within my budget!! I haven’t had my deep cleaning yet but I just know the hygienist will be just as informative and helpful to get me on my healthy mouth path. Thank you Grand Forks Aspen Dental for making me feel welcome and like family!

They had great service! Super timely, very informative and nonjudgmental. Allison and Dr. Joy did an amazing job with instructions and were very respectful. Alyssa Johnson was also great with her service and helped us understand everything we needed to know. Would definitely recommend!

Went in as a first time customer. I wanted to get a routine tooth cleaning. Was greeted with fair and welcoming hospitality. So far so good. Was taken for x-rays first. Normal so far. They took, and this is not an exaggeration, 16 x rays. Unusual but fine. They took me to where I assumed teeth get cleaned...I was wrong. Using there latest and greatest selling equipment they tried to have me believe that I needed a root cleaning, diode laser bacterial decompression, electric tooth brush, and a water flosser. Ive only had one cavity in my life, and had no tooth pain or any other issues. They did not clean my teeth. The real cherry on top was the fact that they have a finace person, and a wait room just for that. Got a second option...slight plac build up behind the retainer, teeth are in good shape. The entire experience felt like buying a used car.
