I rarely do evaluations because they are usually a waste of my time. But I am doing this review because I was VERY impressed with my Aspen experience.
The staff was very helpful and willing to find the best price for the work that I needed. I had already gone to 2 other dentists including a periodontist, at great expense for consultations I might add, and thought I might have to get upper dentures and implants which would have been very expensive. I was very happy to hear that I would not have to remove all of my upper teeth and would only need 2 implants, 2 extractions, and a bridge. I also found out that Aspen honored the current dental discount plan that I already had so that saved me more.
The.staff also let me get my impressions done for my interim partial denture on my first visit so that I didn’t have to schedule an extra appointment for this. This was very helpful because I have to travel for 2 hours one way on mountainous roads to get to Aspen so it is not easy to get there from my home.
Most importantly, I felt like the dentist was honest and was interested in what was best for me rather than looking for a way to charge me for more extensive treatment than I needed.
I am hopeful that the work that is done will be completed successfully! I will be sure to submit a review after my work is completed.
Thanks

I was so nervous before the doctor started but Melissa the dental assistant helped me to calm down. The doctor told me everything he was going to do before he started. They were a great team. When I left I was quite calm and happy. I’m very happy today.

The office staff is wonderful. Friendly and professional. The equipment used in determining my needs is high tech. I had trouble with my partial and went back and they fixed it. Very happy with Aspen Dental.

Aspen dental has treated me right. They have done an implant for me and two crowns. Grace is so sweet, Tammy is fun to visit with, Chelsea has a great sense of humor, Melissa is kind, Bethany is professional, Lauren is joyous, Holly is empathetic, Kayla is hardworking, and the Doctor knows his stuff. This staff has all the ingredients to a perfect dental office.

I came in with an "emergency" on very short notice. Although there's more to look at, and actions to be taken in the near future, they prioritized and understood that I needed relief from my immediate situation. The entire office staff was friendly and empathetic to how I felt, even though the waiting room was full of patients just like me. Annie, the hygienist that "numbed" me for my procedure, was especially friendly, funny, and reassuring. Doctor and assistant were pleasant, and tried to keep me informed as to what to expect, and progress. I was clearly informed of the do's and don'ts of caring for myself after leaving. I look forward to establishing a maintenance program through Holly, the Office Manager, and will definitely recommend the Grants Pass Aspen Dental Office, to my Family and friends. Great visit!

About Aspen Dental - Grants Pass
Aspen Dental in Grants Pass, Oregon, is located at 200 NE Terry Lane, Suite D, in the same shopping plaza as Carl's Jr. and a short drive from Interstate 5. The office describes itself as a place to get affordable dental care under one roof, from cleanings and check-ups to dentures, dental implants and emergency dental visits. Other services listed for this location include extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, fillings and general dentistry procedures. The practice says it serves patients from the surrounding area as well, including Merlin, Rogue River, Murphy and Wilderville.
For patients considering dental implants, the office says a first visit includes a comprehensive exam, any necessary X-rays, and a conversation about treatment options and costs, with a clear written cost estimate provided before any work begins. The practice accepts most major dental insurance plans (it does not accept Medicaid) and works with third-party lenders to offer flexible payment plans and financing. At the time of review, the website listed office hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, with an early 7:00am opening on Fridays, and showed the office closed on Monday, Thursday and weekends; patients should confirm current hours with the office. Same-day appointments and walk-in availability are offered when possible.
