Recommended by my coworker, I came to this office for Dr Kodali for the first time. The front desk Mari and Ashlee greeted me right after I walked in. The office is super busy, but everyone is so nice. Kamille did my x-rays. She is very warm, skilled and patient. Karla did my teeth measurements with a gentle and thoughtful manner. Dr Kodali is so knowledgeable about what she is doing. She is caring, patient, understanding and took her time to explain to me what I should do next. She told me that I didn't need a root canal, but she made a plan for me to take care of my two bad teeth and clean the infected area. The operations manager, Mayra , took her time to know what my goal was, paid detailed attention to what I needed, and gave me the estimated cost in advance. It passed her office hours, but she didn't rush me until everything was settled. I appreciate all the efforts and time they gave me. Most importantly they treat me with care and respect.

My treatment started with a teeth cleaning. The hygienist was nice and that appointment went well. My next appointments were to get a 1 new crown and 1 crown update. I left those appointment with a bunch of scratches in my mouth, tooth pain from them accidentally pulling hard to get the old crown off (they hit other teeth while yanking), and constant "please open wider" vs putting the block thing in my mouth ( which was done around the last 20 mins of a 1.5 to 2 hour appointment). When it left my face hurt with me taking Tylenol for 3 days. I came in for another appointment and was told it was going to be $100 for the appointment. I had already paid. I inquired why the additional cost and was told it was due to an additional service that was optional. In my opinion that should have been offered when I initially set up the 2nd cleaning or asked upon arrival at appointment versus just stating my appointment was going to cost $100. After questioning and being told what it was for they stated it was optional and I declined the service. Again, the hygienist was fine for this appointment. I was leaving and was told I needed to stay to schedule another appointment. Did not know what for so I waited. There was one person in front of me. The person who does the appointment has stepped away so we both waited for maybe 7 to 10 minutes. The appointment person came back and called the other patient who was waiting before me. They left and I waited an additional maybe 15 mins. I needed to leave so I went out there to tell them and the appointment person was not still with the patient and was on her phone. Not talking on phone but it was in her hand ( not sure what she was doing....not my business). I understand things happen but when I looked and said I have to leave she looked up as if surprised and had forgetten about me. She asked for my last name, I gave it to her but left and said if they need to call me they can. I am still waiting on a call.

I had an abscess tooth, my dentist was off for the weekend. Aspen dental was able to get me in, that was the only good thing. When I got there I told them were the pain was. They did a pandemic view and about 14 single x-rays. They wouldn't listen to me I had a dentist and were the pain was. I had a crack tooth on the other side and the dentist was more concerned with that than my abscess tooth. I already told her that my dentist was taking care of it. Tried to get my X-rays on Monday, they said ok. I would have to sign a release form and they would have to send it to corporate before I could get my X-rays. Also the dentist sent the prescription to the pharmacy in which he said it was to high of a dose for a person (stomach issues). He wanted to lower the prescription but she said well send it to another pharmacy. Finally she sent another prescription which was better for me.

STAY AWAY FROM ASPEN DENTAL OFFICE IN HOMEWOOD. I've been with Aspen Dental in Lockport for a few years. Got my cleanings and went on my way. As of this year the Lockport office merged with the Joliet office. So I didn't want to travel any further so I chose Homewood office to go to. THAT WAS A MISTAKE!! When I made the appointment I told them a cleaning, my records were already online and I was informed it was time for Xrays too, no problem. I go to my appointment, got the Xrays, no problem, dental hygienist comes in, rambles about some numbers and bone loss, and finally the dentist, to tell me I have a small overbite, ok knew that, don't care much about it. So she suggests a night guard, I said no. She gathered her papers and told one of the girls I was ready to check out. Wait a minute, Where The Heck Is My Cleaning? So the lady walks me to the front desk and the receptionist starts to tell me that if I got everything I was told to get it was to a tune of $2,000 and was told my Insurance wouldn't cover it. DON'T WANT IT, SO DON'T CARE, But guess what my Insurance will cover? Take a guessI A CLEANING, WHICH IS WHY I WAS THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. Umm excuse me? I'm confused 馃槙 I'm here for a cleaning and since I don't want any of the other things you're pushing I don't even get a cleaning? I'm confused馃槙 So the receptionist goes well we can schedule you a hygiene appointment. WHAT!!! THAT IS WHAT I SCHEDULED IN THE FIRST PLACE, SO EVERYONE IS LOOKING AROUND AND LOOKING LOST IN THE WOODS. SO I'M SAYING THIS ISN'T MAKING ANY SENSE AT ALL. SO I WALKED OUT. THEN A FEW MINUTES LATER AN EMAIL OF A BILL SUMMARY FOR THE XRAYS and BONE LOSS CHECKUP COMES THROUGH, MIND YOU NO CLEANING. WHICH I ORIGINALLY WENT FOR, I GIVE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE ZERO. STAY AWAY FROM IT馃槨

Karla made my visit comfortable as possible. I'm one of the people that don't like the dentist, but with the amount of care she gives I don't mind getting the aid I need. Thank you for being outstanding in your work. My only take away from Aspen was the finance department. Charged my care credit card to the max. I didn't mind paying the bill each visit. *30%
