Dr. Mitchell is just such a delightful person. He is so knowledgeable and the way he treats patients makes me feel so comfortable in a setting I’m usually very uncomfortable. Pricing was fair and everything was explained upfront to me by a front end staff that really seemed to know what they’re doing. Highly recommended practice.

Aspen Dental Dentists and Dental assistants/hygienists/and other staff at the Keene, NH location are always friendly and welcoming. Basic dental care here is at expectation but never exceeds to exceptional care. Now based on other reviews, I see I was not alone in finding out for the first time I supposedly have gum disease after never being told there are concerns by other dentists. I agree it’s inconvenient to show up for a cleaning to be told I’ll only get X-rays and an evaluation and that I need to come back for a deep cleaning and to be sold on special toothpastes and promotional water flossers, etc. my out of pocket expenses for treatment at Aspen were crazy, especially for being the only dentist in my area that is covered by my insurance. I do not think this is my insurance’s issue… To get to my real issue, I recently had all four wisdom teeth removed at Aspen, and never experienced worse bedside manner. The oral surgeon and his assistant barely spoke to me, were obviously too busy to give me the time of day even though I expressed my nervousness and hesitation, and I overall left that procedure feeling uninformed about what was happening, what next steps were save for the information on my post op sheet, and uncared for. I was just another dime in their pockets that day. I had some concerns post operatively that I called the emergency line for at 8am, and it took the ENTIRE business day for someone to find answers and get back to me around 5pm. I had to call back to the emergency line multiple times, a dentist never returned the pages from the emergency staff themselves, and I feel if I had not called the Keene office directly, my calls to the emergency line would have gone ignored indefinitely. When I did get a hold of someone at the office, all dentists were “still in lunch” at 1:45 in the afternoon, which was why I didn’t get any information until 5pm. I do not recommend Aspen for anything other than basic routine care if you cannot go somewhere else. I will not be going back.

Aspen dental was able to get me in for same day extraction! They were all so kind and courteous, and considerate with the fact I don’t do well at the dentist office! I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews. I highly recommend

I have really bad dental anxiety and my teeth so need alot of work, both to correct and to restore teeth. The Aspen in Keene NH has been kind, patient, gentle, and so reassuring during the first 2 phases of fixing my teeth. My dental hygienist (Charlie) is so kind and comforting and the dentist himself is so gentle compared to others I've worked with. If you struggle with your relationship with dentists, I'd highly recommend giving them a try.

As someone who has a severe phobia of dentists, everyone I dealt with at Aspen was wonderful. They assisted me through my anxiety of having to be there to receive treatment and provided me with frequent check-ins to make sure I was doing OK. Charlie, the dental hygienist, was exceptional. He checked in frequently, stopped when I needed to take a break, and made me laugh. His personality is top-notch and his level of care and understanding of my fear was beyond what I can say in words. He put on music to assist with my anxiety and walked me through exactly what he was doing before and during the treatment. I am actually looking forward to returning to work with him again in a few months.
