I had a very positive experience with the staff and facility at Aspen Dental in Laveen. The office is clean, modern, and comfortable. I was impressed by how quickly I was brought back for X-rays and my initial check by the hygienist, though getting to see the actual doctor took noticeably longer. My only real complaint is the pricing. I came in for a chipped front tooth and walked out with an overall treatment plan quoted at $13,000 without insurance. That was a significant shock. So be prepared for potentially steep costs if you’re uninsured. The care quality was solid enough that I’d consider returning, but I’ll be getting a second opinion.

This was by far the best experience we’ve had at a dental office. The dental assistants, Daniel and Density, did an amazing job taking care of my member. Throughout the years I’ve worked with individuals with special needs, I’ve encountered many medical offices that weren’t always patient or understanding. This office was different—they made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Uchitel was kind, gentle, and very informative. She took the time to ask questions, explain everything she was doing, and made sure my member understood each step of the process. Her patience and compassion truly stood out. Thank you to the entire team for providing such exceptional care. Your kindness and professionalism made all the difference, and we truly appreciate everything you did.

I must first start off with the staff. They are amazing attention to detail and listen to your needs make you feel Like you surrounded by family. I needed two crowns They were created and replaced with such an amazing precision and detail: shout out to PJ and Daniel office management and Carolina or her great customer service and support, and the Hygienist I’m so sorry I forgot your name and the assistants .. I have found my home dentistry family. Thank you all for your attention to detail to meet my needs.

My experience with Aspen Dental in Laveen was marked by repeated inconsistencies, lack of transparency, and poor follow through, primarily driven by front office operations rather than clinical care. I was initially quoted approximately $2,500 for a deep cleaning. After questioning this due to having insurance, the estimate was reduced to just over $1,000. When I raised concerns again, I was advised that a pre estimate would be submitted to my insurance, and I would be contacted within 30 days. No follow up was ever made. After approximately six weeks, I contacted the office myself and was then quoted $335, which I accepted before scheduling my appointment. Upon arrival, however, $1,000 was charged to my FSA card, an amount that had neither been agreed to nor adequately explained. When I raised this discrepancy, there was no immediate acknowledgment or apology. An office manager was eventually brought in, who apologized and assured me the overcharge would be refunded within three business days. This did not occur. During the same visit, I was informed without prior notice that only one half of the cleaning could be completed due to insurance approval limitations. This information was not disclosed at the time of scheduling, requiring further clarification while already in the chair. To be fair, both hygienists I encountered were kind, gentle, and professional during treatment. The quality of care on the clinical side was not the issue. The breakdown was clearly within the front office, where communication, billing accuracy, and follow through consistently fell short. One week later, I returned for the second half of the procedure, and the refund had still not been processed. As a result, my FSA account was effectively depleted, impacting my ability to cover other medical expenses. Subsequent communication with customer service produced explanations inconsistent with what had been represented in the office. The sole exception to the administrative experience was an RN at the Laveen location, who demonstrated professionalism, urgency, and genuine concern, and ultimately assisted in resolving the refund issue. Based on the totality of these circumstances, including misleading cost estimates, lack of timely communication, and failure to adhere to stated resolutions, I cannot recommend this location and will not be returning.
