Every visit to Aspen Dental in Lexington, NC is as pleasant as a dental visit can be. Everyone is super nice and professional. People in the office who I haven't even dealt with recently remember me and say hello, and ask how I am doing. It is a great dental practice.

I visited Aspen Dental over years ago and had great experience. I didnot go back for extractions at followup apptmt due to family circumstances with an adult with autism. I scheduled again this past week. My visit I felt was very eratic..tech had issues with getting xray. Dentist or assistant came in..was in maybe 5 min. ..said root canal and full cleaning..but only have a person that does root canal once a month so would be in 2026, which was main reason i was there. They maxed out my insurance on projected 2025 coverage with 2 fillings and a cleaning plus 187.00. Only had an 830 am apptmt. I called and asked for a later one and girl was trying to fit in the cleaning and filling and would call me back..got no call. I found a regular dentist office in Asheboro, cancelled my appointment and asked for xrays. When other office opened the packet was 3 sheets..the bytewing, and 2 copies of left side...no right side. Office contacted but never received right side. I had to pay out of pocket to have xrays done again for the right. My gut was correct..The insurance was maxed out and half the xrays not completed..just felt very haphazard when I was there this visit. I would not reccomend.

Although, I felt their financial process was less than patient friendly by charging way to much and charge it up front. They had to send my 2 crowns back because they dint fit right. That was understandable and he didnt try to charge me 2ce. But he had another dentist seal them with the cement and 1 came out about a month later. It was on a weekend and I called the emergency holiness. They called me back and told me to come in at 8am Monday. I did and they had no clue I was coming. There was another guy who has had appointments at the same time as me He had a crown fall out too. They told us we would have to wait indefinitely or schedule an apt. The guy asked for his records. I finally asked for mother apt .. I get there on time. Im told to pay 1600.00 Im like, no, Im here to get a crown reset because after making it 2 times, one of them weren't set well. They drop the charge but Once I went in the back, I sat forever. There was only one dentist. I then find out my almost 10,000 dollar plan doesn't cover my permanant partial which was the whole purpose. The staff is nice but not real helpful. They just try to passify you, rather than escalate the situation to the right people. Even if they possibly have reasonable prices on some things, they pressure you into way more than you need in a short period of time.

Getting to this point means I'm finally done with all procedures I needed. It's pricey I could tell you that but it's definitely worth it. I read a lot of things positive/negative about Aspen but you won't really know until the final results shows. From Xray to cleaning to teeth extraction to fillings of atleast 10 teeth to crown prep to last appointment which is the permanent crown. I have no issues with anyone there at all they are all kind from the receptionist to Dentist assistants and Dentist.
Shoutout to Doc Phoebe for being kind and understanding also to Ms. Crystal behind the desk. More power Aspen Lexington. I'm gonna miss you all, I started October 15 2025 馃グ
