Terrific Experience at the Aspen Newark Office. The atmosphere was very pleasant and clean with encouraging decor. Front desk reception was nice and so helpful. Noel listened very patiently to my needs, took the time to do a wonderful job cleaning my teeth like a pro. Dr Kahn gave an exam with plans and suggestions on long term care for healthy teeth. So grateful to everyone who helped make my visit positive.

I had a mixed experience with Aspen Dental. My initial appointment went well—they examined me, came up with a treatment plan, and my dental cleaning was great. The hygienist was friendly, thorough, and did an excellent job.
Unfortunately, everything went downhill when I went in to have a filling replaced. I scheduled the appointment specifically because a filling had fallen out of a tooth near my gumline. I clearly pointed out which tooth it was before the procedure.
After the appointment, I got home, looked in the mirror, and immediately noticed the hole was still there. I called the office, and they asked me to come back. The dentist told me the tooth had "just chipped a little," but before I left, I felt the hole with my tongue. I asked the assistant, as politely as I could, if they were sure they had worked on the correct tooth. She said yes.
When I looked in the mirror at the office, I realized they had repaired the wrong tooth—not once, but twice. When the assistant questioned the dentist, he said the tooth I had been referring to was "just stained." I explained that the entire reason I came to Aspen Dental was because the filling had fallen out of that specific tooth.
It was incredibly frustrating to have the wrong tooth treated twice while the actual problem was never addressed. While I appreciated the hygienist and the cleaning, my experience with the dental work left me very disappointed.

Was told I could come in to have a crown recemeted, but would have to have xrays taken. Say there for 2 hrs, then told nothing could be done because I have another dentist. I try to have x-rays transferred to my dentist. But now they will not send them because of a document they sent within an hour of closing on prior business day. Now they would not transfer. Never going back here, giant waste of time.

To be fair and totally honest, my experience with Aspen Dental has been pretty darn awesome! They helped me in every aspect of my journey to better my smile and relieving me of dental pain. Mackenzie was absolutely fantastic in helping me with planning and getting financial aid. Her upbeat personality is infectious!! Regina, was with me throughout my whole process, yet another phenomenal addition to that practice. She is very professional and knowledgeable! Such a sweet person! Dr Khan is professional and extremely caring, I felt no judgement whatsoever from anyone in the office! They actually care about their patients and are there to help with any issues or concerns. I had total teeth extraction and dentures placed. Dr Khan was very gentle in removing my teeth, I was imagining the worst, but he is very good at his job!! The overall experience has been nothing but positive!! I highly recommend this office for any care you may need. Please don’t hesitate when you need dental care!! Aspen Dental is the only place I will ever go to from now on!!

Currently in the process of dentures and I am pleased with the staff and care so far. I will have to wait till extraction and healing and I will send another full review! But the care to calm nerves was amazing!
Update! It’s been just over a week since my extraction. I am very happy so far in my healing and my dentures. I have not one complaint with the staff, the process and the continued care I am receiving!
