As of March 5, I still haven’t received a call back from Aspen Dental. I first called on January 31 to schedule an appointment and check if my insurance qualified. They took all my information and said they would call me back after submitting it. I never heard anything. After two weeks, I called again and was told someone started the insurance submission but never finished it. The representative said he would submit it properly and call me back. It has now been over a month and I still haven’t received any update. Very poor communication and follow-through. I shouldn’t have to keep chasing them just to schedule an appointment.

I love this place. I should of started going here ages ago. I came on a day that happens to be short staff but they made sure it had no effect on my care. I was in and out. They were so informative and patience with me. They made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. It was so clean and calm environment. They made me feel like an actual person and not just a number or dollar sign. At this point i wouldn’t care what they would have charge the service the place everything is a 1000/10 make this your primary

Positives: Kind staff, very comprehensive when explaining care practices, clean and comfortable facility. Negatives: Was preemptively charged several hundred dollars on a line of credit I applied for at their office. The amount was to cover night guards that I inevitably did not end up purchasing. I was told that the charged amount would be returned to my card "within the next few days". Nearly a month later and the charge is still on my account. I called the office to ask for clarity/have the amount refunded, and I was told "well we can save this balance for future services if you want." Why would I want to randomly be charged hundreds of dollars on a line of credit for that money to just sit in your business accounts for 6 months while I pay it off? Especially after I was told I would receive that amount back within a few days from a member of their office team? At my appointment, I was also encouraged to get $3000 "Invisalign" (aspens version, and my insurance didn't cover much) instead of the basic night guard. They had me sold on saving up for the version that would realign my teeth and fix the root issue, which is why I decided not to get the standard version. I did get a funny feeling when the financial receptionist told me the inventor worked at that office... I felt like I was at a car dealership. Same feeling in my gut when the receptionist I just spoke to told me I could "leave the charge" and have a balance with aspen for future work. I am never one to write negative reviews, I understand things happen as someone who has worked in customer service. However, with insurance costs rising, I don't want others to get caught in a situation that causes possible financial hardship and stress like this. Although the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth, and the doctor who explained my x-rays were very kind and educational in their approach, overall I feel swindled and distrusting of returning to aspen as my dentist.

I’m a new patient. My appointment is 1 PM February 21 and was called by Erika the same day early morning if I can come 12:00 PM because they are shortstaffed. I agreed. I arrived 11:57 A.m. and got done 2:45 pm for just comprehensive exam, Dental x-ray, and deep cleaning billing. I paid $209.20 out of pocket from my insurance without deep cleaning done because I have to make a schedule for that. I decided to pay so I will not have to pay for it on my next visit. What I really do not appreciate is that almost 2 hours of my time wasted by Aspen.

Aspen Dental în Andora shopping center under new management is FANTASTIC!!! Great customer service, very polite, very organized, thorough from the manager, to the person who took the X-rays, dental hygienist, everyone was so thoughtful and kind. The office manager is great! An example to be followed. Highly recommended this location!

About Aspen Dental - Philadelphia

Aspen Dental in Philadelphia's Andorra neighborhood, located in the Andorra Shopping Center on E Cathedral Rd, offers a full range of general dentistry along with restorative options including dentures, dental implants, crowns, bridges, and cosmetic treatments like veneers and teeth whitening. The office serves patients throughout the Roxborough and Andorra areas of Philadelphia and is set up to handle everything from routine cleanings and exams to more involved tooth replacement planning, so patients considering dental implants can have consultations, imaging, and treatment planning addressed in one familiar location.

For patients exploring dental implants, the practice builds personalized treatment plans that take into account whether a patient needs a single implant, an implant-retained denture, or a fuller mouth restoration, and the office also provides oral surgery services on site for procedures like extractions and surgical placement. The practice has an onsite lab, which can help streamline parts of the denture and restoration process. Patients researching implants here can expect a consultation focused on their specific oral health needs and a treatment timeline explained up front before any procedure begins.

Meet the Doctors

The team also includes Dr. Eric Silver, who serves as the office's oral surgeon, and Dr. Jonathan Le, DDS, DMD. Having an oral surgeon on the team means surgical procedures like extractions and implant placement can typically be handled at this location rather than referred elsewhere.
