I was quoted $3,500 without insurance, but somehow $5,000 with insurance. That alone didn’t make sense. When I asked for clarification and a proper breakdown, I never received one. I am married and have joint insurance coverage, yet the front office did not properly run my married insurance plan. Instead, I was repeatedly told that I “aged out at 26,” which is irrelevant when you are legally married and covered under a spouse’s policy. This showed a concerning lack of understanding of how insurance coordination works. When you’re discussing thousands of dollars for orthodontic treatment, accuracy and knowledge are essential. Unfortunately, the pricing confusion and lack of follow-up made me lose confidence in moving forward here. After reviewing the most recent feedback posted this year, I noticed a pattern of negative experiences. In hindsight, I should have paid closer attention. I ultimately chose Smilebliss Orthodontics (512 E Southern Ave, Tempe, AZ 85282), where I was quoted $3,900 without insurance. They properly reviewed my insurance, and my coverage handled the majority of the cost — leaving me with only $900 out of pocket. I have MetLife insurance through American Airlines, and they clearly take care of their employees by offering strong benefits. When processed correctly, the coverage worked exactly as it should. They answered every question clearly and treated my concerns seriously. The difference in professionalism and customer service was significant. BEST dentist and staff ever! Dr: Le was AMAZING! Her bedside manners were awesome she’s very informative and very personable. I loved that she made eye contact and didn’t make me feel bad or embarrassed about my situation. She’s heaven sent I wish all dentists were like her. Chris, wss sweet and made me feel comfortable too, he’s definitely a great asset to the team. Both Niki and Aaron were amazing and super sweet as well! They were very informative and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. And last but not least Elizabeth was great made me feel comfortable the moment we spoke on the phone to schedule. Overall I can’t thank you guys enough for your professionalism, for your kindness your support and for not making me feel like it’s all about the money.

While the Dentist was working on my teeth. The Receptionist came in and started asking the assistant and the Dentist questions about another patient. I had to stop the Dentist and said, “ I don’t know what you all are doing, but you’re working on me and I need your full attention on me ( the patient in the chair). I pay a lot of money for my teeth, I scheduled my appointment at this time, I don’t need you to be distracted while you are in my mouth. I was not happy with that. Also the dentist found more problems with my teeth, gave me another quote for more money. Money don’t grow on trees and I already had to get care credit. Stop trying to bankrupt your patients. These are all facts that has happened to me since I went to the Aspen Dental Clinic in Arizona on Thomas and 44th Street.

If you need new dentures, you MUST come here and ask for Gianna. She is nothing short of amazing. She is a true artist and I absolutely love love love my new dentures. They are absolutely perfect and exactly what I was hoping they would be. She is sweet, kind and works hard to make sure the patient is completely happy. We drove almost an hour multiple times specifically to have her create my dentures and it was so worth it. Thank you so much again Gianna for everything you did for me.

The staff here is amazing! Aaron and Jennifer made sure I was taken care of. Dr. Smith went over everything and made a painless procedure. Transparent billing and friendly staff. Made going to the dentist pleasant.
