The procedure went smoothly, and the entire team demonstrated a high level of skill and professionalism. I felt well cared for every step of the way. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of oral surgery. Nikki was absolutely great. She was kind, attentive, and took the time to explain everything clearly before and after the procedure. Her reassuring attitude made a huge difference, and I truly appreciated how patient and compassionate she was throughout the entire process. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about patients and their comfort.

We tried to get my teeth pulled for personal reasons, we missed a date for a day to go over prices and what they would do. They ended up never answering our calls and "dismissed" us because we missed an oppointment. We called 3 different times on different days too.

Five stars! I have pretty bad dental anxiety, but they truly made everything so much better from the moment I walked in. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable, calm, and informed every step of the way. Mary and Nikki were amazing, so kind, patient, and reassuring. They made the whole experience smooth and stress free. I’m so grateful and highly recommend this office!

Love it here. Nice workers and the surgeon was quick to answer all my questions and be straight forward just how I like it. Update: got my wisdom teeth out! All four! Already have all the feeling back in my mouth almost and it’s been 4.5 hours. Everything went well and the people were so nice- I was awake so I was a little nervous throughout the procedure and they made it as calming as possible. Thank you Auburn Oral Surgery 💗🙏🏽

About Auburn Oral Surgery and Implant Center

Auburn Oral Surgery & Implant Center is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice at 838 Southbridge Street in Auburn, Massachusetts, serving patients from Auburn, Worcester, Webster, Oxford and the wider Worcester County area. The practice focuses on dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, intravenous sedation and general anesthesia, oral and facial pathology, corrective jaw surgery and facial trauma care. Patients are treated by two board certified oral surgeons, and the practice notes that oral and maxillofacial surgery requires at least four additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training after dental school.

For patients considering implants, the practice describes dental implants as titanium posts placed in the jaw bone that can replace a single tooth or multiple missing teeth, or add stability and retention to complete dentures. When bone volume is not adequate, bone grafting may be recommended, and the team explains that implant treatment is a team effort between the patient's dentist and the oral surgeon that may involve more than one surgery. The office emphasizes careful pre-operative and diagnostic evaluation, consultation with other medical specialists when appropriate, post-surgical follow-up care and 24-hour on-call service. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Meet the Doctors

The practice's two oral surgeons are Dr. Laith Azzouni and Dr. Layeeq Ahmed. Dr. Azzouni earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2004, graduating with honors, and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in 2008. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and an assistant clinical professor in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ahmed earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he received the Best Dental Implant Student award from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Boston University. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and provides implant surgery, bone grafting, soft tissue grafting, exposure and bracketing of impacted teeth, office based anesthesia, facial trauma care and oral pathology treatment.
