McAlester is so blessed to have this wonderful dentistry/orthodontic team local to us. All the staff is wonderful, but Ashley cleans our teeth. She is thorough, gentle, kind, and makes you feel comfortable. Dr. Michael and Dr. Clark are the best! Super impressed by how procedures are recommended, but not forced. Although every patient and situation is different, they are honest about everything! If it needs to be done they will tell you, but if it’s not an emergency there is no pressure. Another dentist in town wanted to immediately put my child to sleep for 2 cavities when he was younger. We went to Auld for a second opinion. My son was able to have his cavities filled in office without the risk of anesthesia. They were gentle and he had a great experience even though he was so young. This team is amazing! Very good at business office as well! Very knowledgeable in billing procedures and dealing with insurance.

A great, family orientated dentistry. They try to be punctual to the time of the appointment. The receptionists and staff are very kind and helpful. If you are new to mcalester or in the area, Aulds Family Dentistry is recommended to go to. They will welcome you and treat you like a long time friend.

Meet the Doctors
Patient care at Auld Family Dentistry is provided by Dr. Michael Auld and Dr. Clark Grilliot. Dr. Michael Auld, a McAlester native, earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, is a graduate of the Kois Center for esthetic, implant, and restorative dentistry, has completed advanced continuing education in orthodontics and dental implants, and trained in intravenous sedation under Dr. Stanley Malamed. He has practiced comprehensive orthodontics and implant dentistry since 2010. Dr. Clark Grilliot, also from McAlester, earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, is certified in intravenous moderate sedation and impacted third molar removal through Western Surgical and Sedation, and holds hospital privileges at McAlester Regional Health Center for treatment under general anesthesia. Dr. Douglas Auld, an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and longtime leader in the Oklahoma Dental Association and American Dental Association, is part of the practice but is not currently seeing patients.
