I had surgery to have wisdom teeth removed. Dr John Cluley performed the surgery. Dr cluley and the entire staff of Austin Oral Surgery are simply AMAZING!!!!馃憦馃徔 . I'm someone who is already embarrassed of their teeth and the condition they are in and Dr. Cluley put those fears to rest for me.
His concern that day was to treat the pain symptoms that I was having with my teeth and he did!, he is fast too!! I was finished literally within 15 minutes. And the staff is amazing!! I wish I had remembered all their names, the front desk person whom you first meet when you step inside, she was wonderful. She greeted me and helped me to get / feel comfortable.
The finance person she was wonderful as well, she put my mind to rest about the payments. I was so concerned that my insurance wouldn't cover most of the oral procedure and I would have a huge bill to pay. But to my surprise, my insurance covered almost all of it, I just have a small portion to pay. So she was right, it all worked out.
And the assistants that Dr. Cluley had with him were wonderful, they both were so kind and friendly help keeping my nervousness to a bare minimum. If you ate looking for a dentist and staff that shows concerns, caring and is welcoming to patients then Austin Oral Surgery is the dentist office you are looking for! Thank you so much Dr. Cluley and the entire Austin Oral Surgery staff.

I had my wisdom teeth removed on 5/14 and had such a great experience with AOS and Dr. Wildey. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly kind, reassuring, and attentive to all of my concerns. They made me feel comfortable and confident that everything was going to go smoothly.
I鈥檓 currently entering day 4 of recovery and have had very minimal pain. The only discomfort I鈥檝e experienced has mostly been some jaw soreness, which was honestly due to me not staying on top of my pain medication schedule as well as I should have.
Overall, I鈥檓 extremely happy with my experience and would highly recommend AOS and Dr. Wildey to anyone needing their wisdom teeth removed. The care and professionalism from the entire team made a stressful procedure feel so much easier.

I was referred by my dentist to have three wisdom teeth removed. From the time I called to schedule to the time I left surgery it was a five star experience. The location was close to my house, the receptionist or professional and courteous. I was able to schedule the surgery to my convenience. The day of surgery, the assistant took very good care of me then the doctor came in and explained what was about to happen again. My surgery went well and was performed in a timely matter. My meds were ready the day before so I would have one less thing to worry about. The doctor was great, he did a very good job. Very little pain and I'm healing fast. Thanks to all of team!

Pretty discouraging to have paid a $5000+ bill in full, since insurance didn鈥檛 cover the pulling of one tooth, and then two days later to get a a bill for the initial consultation. It was a minimal fee, but come on, this doesn鈥檛 seem like good customer care or communication. The entire procedure was less than 20 minutes and it is interesting that no follow up or contact to see how I was recovering, even my vet does better than that for a routine visit. The front desk lacked any cordial service or communication regarding the 45 minute wait time. The business manager was the only ones who made any effort to make it seemed like they cared. The doctor seemed like he wasn鈥檛 really interested in answering questions during the initial consultation as it was here is the treatment, take it or leave it.

Checked in with the front desk they were very courteous. We were seeing a few minutes later by the doctor. He was well aware of the situation. My wife went in for surgery and was back within 25 minutes. Very happy with the results. Certainly we will use their services again.
