Didn’t feel pain throughout the whole experience of getting 4 of my wisdom teeth out and 2 of them were severely impacted! Was super happy bc genuinely had been putting off the procedure for years since I’d never undergone surgery before but am so glad everything went so well and procedure was rly fast and a success. Surgeon called me a couple hours later to confirm I was doing well. Highly recommend this place :)

I am a General Dentist and have been referring patients to Dr. Ding and Dr. Knell for years. Not too long ago they helped our 17 year old with his wisdom teeth extractions. The in-office experience was very smooth. They sent us home with all necessary items for a post-op speedy recovery. They are very well trained Oral Surgeons and make it a point to make you feel how much they care about you. I have recommend them to hundreds of my own patients and I always get fantastic reports from their experience with Drs. Ding and Knell.

We had an excellent experience with Dr. Ding, who removed my son’s wisdom teeth. I found out about him by checking my neighborhood’s FB page for oral surgeon recommendations & they did not disappoint.
Dr. Ding & his office staff were friendly, professional, informative, & efficient in a comfortable atmosphere. I walked into the office with a list of questions, most of which Dr. Ding answered before I even had to ask.
Leading up to surgery, including the day of, our son was understandably anxious, especially since it was his first surgery, & Dr. Ding & his staff were accommodating & helped him to relax by answering his questions. They were very kind, understanding, & gentle with him on surgery day.
Our son’s surgery went smoothly & at 13 days out, he is recovering quickly. We only had one tiny blip during recovery, which was more bleeding than expected the day of surgery after a nap, but were able to address it by having our son bite on tea bags as instructed in post-op instructions, which resolved the issue within 30 minutes.
Dr. Ding followed up personally the day after surgery, at which point we reported that he was recovering as expected.
We are very pleased & highly recommend Dr. Ding.

I had to have an extraction and an implant done and this was a first for me. Dr. Knell and his staff were very professional and made me feel at ease during the procedures. Dr. Knell took the time to explain everything in detail so I would feel comfortable. No one ever looks forward to getting this type of work done done; however, if I had to do it again, I would return to AOS!

I cannot say enough good things about Austin Oral Surgery. I’ve now been here twice for tooth extractions, and both experiences were genuinely excellent from start to finish.
From the moment you walk in, the staff is professional, friendly, and incredibly reassuring. They take the time to explain everything clearly, answer questions without rushing you, and make sure you’re comfortable every step of the way. Dental procedures can be stressful, but they do an amazing job of putting you at ease.
The surgeons are highly skilled and efficient—both extractions went smoothly with minimal discomfort and a much easier recovery than I expected. You can tell you’re in experienced hands. The post-op instructions were clear and thorough, and they truly care about your healing and comfort afterward.
It’s rare to find a medical office that consistently delivers this level of care, but Austin Oral Surgery absolutely does. If you need oral surgery or extractions, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
