We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Portnoff and her staff at AV Dental Surgery Center! Dr. Portnoff removed my daughter’s wisdom teeth and took such incredible care of her from start to finish.
Her entire team, from the front office staff to the back office assistants, were kind, professional, and genuinely attentive. Their customer service is truly exceptional (which is refreshing these days) — they made us feel comfortable, informed, and at ease every step of the way.
Everything was quick, smooth, and organized, which made the whole process so much less stressful. Most importantly, my daughter is making a speedy recovery, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the excellent care she received.
I highly recommend AV Dental Surgery Center to anyone needing oral surgery — they are outstanding!

I’ve been a patient at this dental center for over 5 years, and I can confidently say their service is truly second to none. Alexa, Abby, Cindy, Marcella and the whole team is always professional, welcoming, and attentive, making every visit a positive experience.
Dr. Portnoff is exceptional — knowledgeable, gentle, and genuinely caring. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and ensures you’re comfortable throughout the entire process. I wouldn’t trust my dental care to anyone else. Highly recommend!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr Nakano, nurse Cindy, and the entire staff here at AVDSC! I came in today and let me tell you now my whole surgery is done, I know I was in the best hands with this team. I avoided visiting the dentist because I’ve had some bad experiences with some previous dental offices but coming here made my whole experience different. Such welcoming, kind, and caring people who actually care about you. I came in for a wisdom tooth surgery. I was nervous from the start but their reassurance and gentleness really made a difference. It truly takes a village to run a great place like this one and it shows. I highly recommend coming to this place. Another thing I wanted to add was that I was worried being wheelchair out in front of the lobby for everyone to see but they have a waiting area in the back for you to rest for a while with the person you came with. They even checked up on me even after now that I’m home just to see how I was doing and to not hesitate to call them for any questions or concerns. They care and I love them for that. Get your dental care here, I recommend.

Just wanna give doctor portnoff The respect that she's do. She was excellent. The procedure went smooth. I had 2 implants, put in, and what seemed to be record time to me. The only issue we had was, .My lower jawbone was a little dense.So she had put in a little more work to get it just right.. She also has a great personality and definitely coming back for whatever more work. I need.

The staff was welcoming and friendly. Insured i was well taken care. Both staff and Dr. Nakano explained everything in detail. Dr. described the pros/cons of dentures, implants and emphasizing the decision was totally mine and whatever option I chose theyd abide by it. Great office. Knowledgeable, understanding and welcoming. Ive avoided dentists for years but im glad i found Dr. Nakano.
