The only explanation that I can come up with as to why this business has so many bad reviews is to say that a whole lot of people in BR must have really poor/ unresponsive dental insurance. That has to be where the trouble is coming from. I found the dr. and the staff to be warm, friendly, EXTREMELY efficient, and caring. My son was first seen the 2nd week of February, and was able to schedule his wisdom teeth to be removed a week later. I have good responsive dental insurance, so confirmation of coverage was obtained by the front office staff from my insurance within a week (though of course I did have to pay the deductible the day of surgery). Dr. Vinci is extremely experienced and capable and had all 4 of those teeth out (one was severely impacted) in about 15 minutes. In all, we were in and out in about an hour. Everything that was needed prior to and after the surgical removal of my son's wisdom teeth was provided in an efficient manner as well. Finally, I have to note that pain management was excellent.
In conclusion, Baker Vinci Oral Surgery strikes me as being an extremely experienced, professional, and competent practice. I highly recommend them for the removal of wisdom teeth. In that light, I attribute the bad reviews of this business to being more reflective of the quality of the respondents' dental insurance than to being reflective of the quality of the actual business being reviewed.

This place was a genuinely strange experience so I’m gonna be as honest as possible on my feelings here. We walked in to the building and everything seemed pretty fine in the lobby. Only thing too bad at this point was the waiting time for the appointment which was at 3:15, and it took about 40 minutes to actually get into the doctors room. Once I got to this room, I immediately felt off just because of how seemingly old the equipment was. It looks like the room itself time travelled through the doctors time machine or something into 2025, as seen in the picture below. It was just an extremely unnerving room in general, and then I decided to look at the other reviews, which were even worse. Some previous patients mentioned how they woke up during surgeries, screaming and crying being able to feel everything going on in their mouth. This was when I decided to leave.
But other than all the griping, the staff was actually EXTREMELY nice. The front desk women were amazing and I had a formidable experience with them, but I can’t say anything about Vinci himself because I left before I even got the chance to meet him.

I was worried when I read all of the reviews, but my experience went very well. The staff were nice as well as Dr. Vinci. I got four wisdom teeth pulled and did not have any complications with anesthesia or the staff.

Went to get wisdom teeth removed and had a great experience, Dr. Vinci is very knowledgeable and caring. He took his time and perfectly explained everything to me making the experience a breeze. I was nervous, but this place is like family. Highly recommended!

Dr. Vinci came highly recommended by several friends and colleagues. From the consultation to post surgery, Dr. Vinci and his staff were great. I had a ton of questions as a very anxious Mom with an equally nervous teenager. Dr. Vinci was patient and addressed all my concerns. Would definitely recommend them to others needing oral surgery!
