I had an outstanding experience with this oral surgery team for my tooth extraction. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and informative, making sure I understood every step of the process.
Dr. Jesse Jakubowski was both professional and genuinely friendly, which immediately put me at ease. A special thank-you to Theo, who made the entire experience unbelievably comfortable. Theo took the time to calm any anxiety I had before the procedure, and it truly made all the difference.
The follow-up call from the doctor the next day was greatly appreciated and showed how much they truly care about their patients’ well-being.
Highly recommend this office for anyone needing oral surgery — they made a stressful situation smooth, comfortable, and reassuring.

I had an amazing experience with Bay Center - Tyronne oral surgeon and their team. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. The care I received was excellent from start to finish, and I truly felt well taken care of throughout my visit. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of an oral surgeon.

I could not have been happier or more pleased with the excellent care I recieved. Dr. V ( Vanessa Watts) is absolutely the BEST ! Very nice, very compassionate and made me feel so comfortable at my visit. Would highly recommend her 1000 % !!!!!!

My visit was great. From the " spooky" Halloween decor to the " howdy" greetings from the staff and nurses. The procedure/extraction by Dr. Jakubowski was flawless. I was greatly surprised and very pleased when he called me, personally, the next day to see how I was doing. There's something special about the whole visit to Bay Center. Thank you, I'm glad I went

My daughter had such a great experience getting her wisdom teeth removed with Dr. Jakubowski and the staff of Bay Center for Oral Surgery that she said she was sad she didn't have a reason to go back to the office:) Dr. Jakubowski is very professional, but also such a caring doctor and even followed up himself to make sure my daughter was okay the day after the surgery. Also, I cannot thank Courtney enough for how much she did to make sure my daughter was well taken care of during the procedure (and before) and after. She was truly amazing! We are so thankful and highly recommend Dr. Jakubowski and the staff of Bay Center for Oral Surgery.

Bay Center for Oral & Implant Surgery is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice that has served Pinellas County and neighboring counties for more than 40 years. Its Tyrone office is located at 6700 Crosswinds Drive North, Suite 100-B in St. Petersburg, and the practice also operates a Largo office and a Northeast St. Petersburg office. Dental implants are a central focus of the practice, which describes them as a permanent alternative to removable dentures for patients missing some or all of their teeth. Related services include bone grafting for patients with mild or severe jaw bone loss and pre-prosthetic surgery to prepare the mouth for dentures or implants.
Beyond implant care, the practice provides the full range of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including wisdom teeth extractions, jaw surgery, facial trauma care, oral pathology and biopsies, exposure of impacted canines, and platelet rich plasma therapy. Meet the Doctors
The practice's surgical team includes Dr. Glen E. Jones, Dr. Jesse M. Jakubowski, Dr. Christopher P. Maly, and Dr. Alex Powell. Dr. Jones earned his dental degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1995 and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College; he has been a partner in the practice for more than 23 years and has a strong emphasis on implant surgery. Dr. Jakubowski joined the practice in 2013 after completing dental school and oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Nova Southeastern University and Broward Health Medical Center; he is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Diplomate and Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Maly graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2010, completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, served ten years in the United States Navy, and is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Powell holds both Doctor of Dental Medicine and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees from Nova Southeastern University, completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center as Chief Resident, and is Board Eligible with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, with particular interests in dental implant surgery and full-arch rehabilitation.
