Yesterday I went out to the the camas Branch for an evaluation. Every last person that we dealt with was so kind, attentive, and just all around genuine they totally made me feel at home and my wife felt the same way. Today we went out to the Gresham branch to see what it would take for me to transfer my care out there. Everyone acted like they were just waiting for me to come in and to tell me that whatever I wanted they would be happy to do. And the transfer was a no-brainer. How can everybody on two different staffs be so professional and personable? This is dramatically highlighted by the fact of two recent encounters: at another dental business and a blood draw business. You can't fake genuine excellent customer service and Beacon has that in spades.

Dr. Rehrer and staff were amazing!! From the consultation information, communication prior to appointment, and after care supplies…..this team is INCREDIBLE!! They helped my son not to be as scared to have his wisdom teeth extracted. They took great care of him and provided us with information for healing and the availability if we had any questions afterwards. Strongly recommend Beacon and Dr. Rehrer!!

The staff were sensitive to my sister’s special needs and did everything possible to accommodate her and make her comfortable. They did a wonderful job proving information for pre- op and post op. I have not qualms recommending them for your oral surgery needs.

My first impression of Beacon was excellent; they are highly organized, providing detailed booklets and educational videos for every step. After consulting with three surgeons regarding a complex case involving four front teeth implants, I chose Dr. Lieblick because of his confidence and skill. My general dentist also spoke highly of their work, indicating that he guarantee’s his work, I am not sure if that is true. None of my procedures were covered by insurance and between the oral surgeon and my dentist the whole process cost me around $20,000. In the paperwork they give you after the surgery it says that it is not uncommon to have bone fragments come through the skin, and if they were bothering me to not remove them myself but to contact them. I gave it a few days to see if what felt like bone fragments resolved on their own, it did not. I called the office, and the receptionist sounded like she did not know what to do with me. She hemmed and hawed, and then said the doctor was at another location that day and she needed to talk to his assistant. I was put on terminal hold and after about five minutes I just hung up. I did get a call from an assistant a few hours later to touch base. I cannot imagine I am the first person to have concerns over bone fragments. It felt like nobody knew what to do with me, and I felt like an inconvenience instead of a patient. While the implants were healing, I was given a plastic retainer with four front teeth, called an Essix retainer, so it would look like had teeth. The plastic edge of the retainer was thick and there was a gap on the top and when I would talk my upper lip would get caught in it. When I when in for my two week follow up appointment, I asked Dr. Lieblick if he could look at the retainer and if there was a way to adjust it. He said that I should take it to my dentist for adjustment. I was a little annoyed, I had paid a lot of money for this surgery and felt like he should be willing to assist me, so I responded by asking “So you cannot fix it here?” He was clearing irritated, took the retainer, which is an $800 piece of equipment, and sanded the plastic down in a way that felt like a “tantrum”, ultimately I had to take to my regular dentist to fix it. Losing four front teeth is a traumatic experience. While Dr. Lieblick is undoubtedly a skilled surgeon, the office lacks the compassion and bedside manner necessary for such significant procedures. I am happy with the surgical outcome, but disappointed by the lack of kindness and respect during the process.

I want to thank Dr. Rehrer and his team for your exceptional care! From the consultation onward, the communication was clear and incredibly professional. The staff walked me through every step of the procedure and billing so there were no surprises. On the day of surgery to extract 3 teeth Dr. Rehrer and his team made me feel safe and comfortable, talking to me through the entire procedure and constantly checked to make sure I was feeling any pain. Dr. Rehrer called me that night to check on me, and that showed me how much Dr Rehrer and his team really care.
