My 23-year-old son recently had a consultation at this office regarding the removal of two impacted wisdom teeth. At no point prior to or during the consultation was he informed that they were out of network with Delta Dental, one of the largest dental insurance providers. It wasn’t until the end of the appointment that he was presented with a $600 bill for the consultation and informed that the procedure would require over $2,600 out of pocket.
Having worked in the dental field for over 10 years, I was very surprised and disappointed that the out-of-network status and expected out-of-pocket costs were not clearly explained in advance. Financial transparency is extremely important, especially for a college student working part-time and paying for his own care. Patients should be given the opportunity to fully understand their insurance coverage and financial responsibility before services are rendered.
I contacted the office and requested a call back from the doctor/owner to discuss whether this may be a training or communication issue that could be improved to prevent similar situations for other patients. Unfortunately, it has now been two weeks, and I am still waiting for that call.
I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and improves its communication and billing transparency for future patients.

The procedure went exactly as planned with no complications. This is the day after my surgery and I feel no pain at all. The staff were very friendly and made me feel at home. I will definitely get the rest of my implant work done at Beacon and would recommend them to anyone looking for professional work done by down to earth friendly people!

At 25 years old, no broken bones no stitches. I was so nervous. Went to beacon to get all 4 wisdom teeth taken out. They were very nice, made sure I was comfortable. Fell asleep fast and woke up within 45 minutes. It was fast and very efficient. Going here for sure next time I need dental done.
Dr. Lieblick was awesome!

Dr. Rehrer and his Team did an outstanding job removing the lesion from my inner lip. I had very little discomfort from the incision or the stitches afterwards. Healing has been faster than I expected and the bruising should be gone completely by weeks end. Everyone from the Office Staff to the Medical Assistants and Doctor were extremely professional and caring throughout the whole process from beginning to end.
Thanks everyone!!!

Dr. Lieblick and his office staff are absolutely amazing! I am an emergency physician and Dr Lieblick has the highest standards of care for all of his procedures, and I have complete trust in all of his safety measures, which are beyond what many offices offer. He just did my second child’s wisdom tooth removal and I have recommended him to anyone who asks! Not only is he an amazing surgeon but he is a wonderful human as well. Highly recommend!

About Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dental Implants and Wisdom Teeth
Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons has a Camas, WA office offering dental implant treatment for patients dealing with one or more missing teeth. Implants are placed to fuse with the jaw bone, creating a stable foundation that helps keep the bone healthy, unlike removable dentures or bridges that sit on top of the gum ridge. For patients with more extensive tooth loss, the practice also offers full-arch restoration, in which as few as four implant posts can support a fixed replacement for an entire arch of teeth.
This Camas location is one of four offices the practice operates in the Portland and Vancouver, Washington area, and it also provides services such as bone grafting, tooth extractions, wisdom teeth removal, and treatment for facial trauma. Patients considering implants can expect a custom treatment plan built around their specific oral health needs, with the office providing detailed instructions before and after surgery to support a smooth recovery.
Meet the Doctors
The practice's clinical team includes Dr. Russell Lieblick, DMD and Dr. Brandon Rehrer, DDS, both board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons through the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Becoming board-certified required them to complete a rigorous peer evaluation process demonstrating their training, experience, and education in oral surgery, in addition to the 4 to 6 years of hospital-based surgical residency training required after dental school.
