I recently had a gum grafting procedure performed by Dr. Bergens and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the first consultation, Dr. Bergens was incredibly informative and took the time to explain the procedure in detail, addressing all my concerns.
The day of the surgery, the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease, which made a world of difference. Dr. Bergens performed the procedure with precision and care, and thanks to his and the staffs expertise, any discomfort was minimal. They were attentive throughout the process, ensuring I was doing okay and addressing any questions I had along the way.
After the procedure, the post-operative care instructions were clear, and the follow-up appointments were well-organized. It's clear that Dr. Bergens and staff is dedicated to their patients’ well-being and comfort.
I highly recommend Dr. Bergens for anyone considering gum grafting or other periodontal treatments. Their professionalism, skill, and compassionate approach made all the difference in my experience. Went to the office thought might need surgery, but only needed something simple. Dr Bergens is the most HONEST kind dentist I have ever been to. He was able to solve the problem right then and there and no surgery. And the office staff was awesome amazing

I was there today for an 1100 am appointment, I went in at 1045 I was the only patient In the lobby, I signed in then sat down. The 2 woman behind the counter never looked or sayed I word to me! 1100am I got up said have a nice day,they replyed u to! Then I walked out! Never again!

I’m very dissatisfied with my appointment today! I feel like it was a money grab! Very nice people, but not helpful. I got my teeth counted and they charged me $168 and sent me packing, oh and I need a deep cleaning for 1500 cash! For bone loss, how are we going to bring the bone loss back?? I say have open pockets before going there!

Dr. Bergens completed the first phase of my dual implant yesterday. It involved 4 extractions and bone grafting to prepare for 2 implants and a bridge. He and his staff made me feel at ease every step of the way and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. He even called me personally later in the day to see how I was doing. To say was impressed would be an understatement. I highly recommend Dr. Bergens to anyone seeking the best in dental care.

Bergens Periodontics & Implant Dentistry is a periodontal and dental implant practice located at 724 South Beach Street, Suite 4, in Daytona Beach, Florida, with additional offices in Palm Coast and DeLand. The practice is dedicated exclusively to periodontal therapy and implant placement, and it welcomes patients from Daytona Beach, DeLand, Palm Coast and the surrounding areas. Dental implant services include single tooth replacement, multiple teeth replacement, full arch replacement and treatment of peri-implant diseases, along with the supporting procedures many implant patients need, such as bone grafting, ridge augmentation, ridge modification and sinus lift surgery. Beyond implants, the office provides a full range of periodontal care, including pocket reduction surgery, gum grafting, LANAP laser surgery, the Chao Pinhole Technique, cosmetic periodontal surgery, aesthetic crown lengthening, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, Arestin antibiotic treatment, frenectomies, oral cancer exams and platelet rich fibrin treatment. Meet the Doctors
The practice is led by Dr. Bryan M. Bergens, DDS, FICOI, FACD, ABAAHP, a Board Certified Periodontist and Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a Diplomate of the American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners, and an Assistant Professor in implant surgery at the University of Florida School of Dentistry. Dr. Bergens graduated from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1991, completed his postgraduate periodontics program in 1993 and earned board certification in periodontology in 1997. He has over 31 years of practice experience covering the full scope of periodontics, from dental implants and sinus augmentation to gum grafting, LANAP laser surgery and Pinhole surgical techniques, and he has completed advanced training in regenerative dentistry using platelet rich fibrin.
